ok enough is enough… so here is a list of what i think might help u aaaaand the others at your team ofc! :#

  1. PLEASE PTFO (play the fucking objective)
  2. team has to divide in order to cover every ‘‘road’’ that the enemies can use, when u are defending one OBJECTIVE
  3. on the other side when attacking use every ‘‘road’’ but as a team, exept u know flanking time!
  4. medics have to stay one step back so the can REVIVE others or HEAL them, then when the enemy is low make your life as a medic easier and go for the sure/easy kill then revive. it’s pointless reviving someone just to see him die again and again and again… when u play as a medic don’t forget to use your defibs or revive guns to revive your teammates. i can’t stand those who play as medics and revive with help button. then from medic u turn into me-dick

  5. skyhammers-arty (kira also lets say) For Fucks Shake DROP AMMO wisely ,u will even get xp for just pressing the ‘‘E’’ button!!! remember also that u are the ‘‘heavy’’ (fragger included) attacking player so go for kills and EV disables. at the same time u help medics to stay at the back!!
  6. for those who are objective specialists, u have to DO the OBJECTIVES BUT don’t run at them like morons and die, watch out make 1-2 kills wait for the correct time and then do the repair-plant-defuse (its really working i’ve tried it!)
  7. aaaaand snipping time now… IF U CAN’T SNIPE THEN DON’T. simple as that.
  8. use your HUD everything u need to know is just on your screen, for example that small clock up left its the most OP thing in the game, USE THE INFORMATION THAT THE GAME GIVES U
  9. also a pro tip over here, USE SOUND! game has a different sound for everything, learn them, use them!
  10. always try to be productive for your team and adjust your mercs selection and gameplay style into the game. think how the game is going what the enemy team is trying to do, what your teammates are doing and then act, don’t turn the games into endless deathmatches!!!
  11. FYI there is a map at the hud down left. USE IT
  12. remember that ONLY ONE merc can do the OBJECTIVE, it doesn’t help at all when a whole team gets stuck at the obj. also makes enemies wonder if u are mindless…
  13. don’t run in front of your teammates like idiots for just to block their view or stop them from firing at an enemy. obviously doesn’t help at all
  14. every merc has 3 weapons at least for sure. primary,secondary and melee use them all wisely
  15. and here is a must watch video with pretty much EVERYTHING U NEED just to play the game

there is much more still to say, that’s for start.

ALSO please dirty bomb get rid of cheaters they are everywhere!!! kick them, ban their hardware or something. WE DON’T NEED THEM
there is also something seriously wrong with the competitive matchmaking atm but i hope this will end at the full release of the game

Awesome ! I hpe every noob would see this :), i today tryed to explain my team about 12., they all think if there are more ppl on defuse/plant,reapir its gonna be faster, but it isnt or if engi comes and they still try to defuse lol… Also DirtyBomb tutorial needs to be remade and inform players about this! @MissMurder Can u share this post on your twiter and facebook page!

As much as I agree and sympathize with your annoyance - might I suggest writing a game-guide here http://forums.dirtybomb.nexon.net/categories/new-players in a slightly less aggressive tone?

A lot of newbies visit this section to ask questions and to find answers, and if you wrote a proper guide in the same format as you have here (without the block capitals and clear annoyed attitude) it might actually help a lot of people! :slight_smile:

Yeah, except some people sadly don’t want to try, and they feel like if they want to snipe and go 3/20 then that is what they will do. Sad truth about f2p shooters, and most shooters in general.

u are right and i ask sorry about my attitude, but i wrote that really really fast after i was mad for 3 days continuously!

now for the game guide as u propose i don’t think that i am a pro that knows everything about dirty bomb but definitely i will give it a try, cause is probably the best way to help them and make them understand the game

Do you play pub matches, OP? Usually those are the ones where everyone’s just severely dumb, running face first into walls and flailing in confusion on how to play the game.

I play pub pretty exclusively and have for pretty much 100% of my hours clocked in-game so I’m used to the challenge, but I hear competitive is a lot better if you want reliable teammates. Maybe give it a whirl.

I know DB is pretty bad game to start practicing sniping since it’s such a fast game, but if you like to snipe, sure be a sniper if there isn’t enough of those already. Can’t really tell someone they aren’t allowed to do something just because they’re bad at it

yes that one was not explained well from my side. well i don’t mean exactly that i don’t allow them to play, who am i to tell how everyone is gonna play the game??? i just understand that everyone has the right to play as he/she likes but instead of just grabbing vassili and redeye out there 8vs8 (with a 5-25 k/d), spend a little time at an empty server to learn the maps-spots so u have the advantage. also go to an empty server to make your settings good for u to snipe, then start from 6vs6 and go on… better for everyone i think!

Sure, I get where you’re coming from, Vassili IS meant to kill a lot of people in short time and that takes certain skill, so seeing one doing bad on your side can be really frustrating. I’m not saying I haven’t been there myself, lol. But yeah, on the other hand I’m sympathetic, there’s been a time for every good Vassili when they wouldn’t have been able to shoot the enemy even if they had the head of Megamind

no worries man i will try to cover them all in one big guide at some point! probably i will make one base and every day add some more but still i’m thinking on how to do it in order to be good, complete and understandable to most of the players.
