EnemyTerritory - Servers List???

Last night I noticed that my servers list is empty…
does any one know why? is the main server down or is it just me?

you might want to try a third party game browser like Age Reloaded or All Seeing Eye

Did you select “Internet” as source? And not “Favourites” or “Local”?

Upper left in the ingame server browser right below the caption “Filters”, maybe you clicked it accidentally.

the master list is down - has been for a long time - its a pain - i cant get a new etkey and cant join servers :frowning:

The ET master is up, and I don’t think it’s been down lately (at least not for long periods of time). The RtCW master is down though. :frowning:

I thought punkbuster was responsible for assigning cdkeys, some servers I try to join give me the silly cdkey not reaching guidauth error, and the quickest way I find of getting in is to delete my etkey and /pb_cdkeyreg. Incidentally this works instantly, everytime, so why it doesn’t go through in the first place I don’t know :frowning:
My router is top of the list of culprits.

Dannyboy: For new key, find etkey in your etmain/ directory and delete it. Rejoin server for new one.

Master servers still up, has the tendency to go down a bit… best using a third party app as suggested above.

just found out why im having problems

seems my ISP Wandoo - is not routing certain connections - one of them is etmaster.idsoftware.com as well as punk buster. Had some great ET game over the weekend on my other conncetion

yeah i’m on wanadoo dialup, past few days it’s been a bit hit and miss for being able to connect to the ASE scanner - just having to reconnect (once or twice) to get it back.
