Enemy territory?

Hello im new here and I want to ask a question to the creators of Enemy Territory.

  • Is there going to be an xbox version of Enemy territory because me and many other players want to play it on live :blah:

Don’t count on it. They seem to have moved on. The next game wil probably be based on the D3 engine.

That doesn’t mean that Activision couldn’t contract another developer to make a XBOX ET. For example, the PS2 version of RTCW was developed by Raster, who had nothing to do with the PC version. The basic truth is, no one knows except Activision.

Et levels are too big for xbox. Half the origibal levels from RTCW where split in half for Xbox. Anyway Doom3 is coming to xbox so im sure SD’s multiplayer bit from that will be in

How Would they market ET on Xbox anyway? I doubt that they would give it out for free, and I wouldn’t see any point in getting it for Xbox if you have to pay for it when you can get it for free online. Maybe XBOX LIVE or something?

Remeber that ET is an ENTIRELY different game from RtCW and not just a port or expansion. They hafta recode everything from scratch to make it compatible with XBox.

That seems like a lot of resources and salaries to release another game for zero profit. But if enough people are willing to pay and buy it from retail stores, all the power to them.
