Enemy territory quake wars "jokes"

(signofzeta) #1

People in the quakewarscenter forums were debating about which is the better media to put quake wars on. Blu ray or DVD.

Some people said the normal CD.

My contribution is a guesstimated 500 5 inch floppies.

Here is someone’s reply:

ETQW will be available exclusively on Four Track cartridge, pianola roll, or Easter Island Massive Stone Head.

Zip discs :stuck_out_tongue:

cool! Buy Quake Wars and get a free piece of furniture. FedEx might have a hard time delivering that though. I think I’ll go for a standard DVD this time.

More something to place outside, in the middle of the patio or some nice spot where your fine shrubbery would have been.

Quake Wars would be available in bookwork as well, you would need to type over all bits from it. lets start with: 110101010101101010101010010110100111010101010101101010110101010101010101010010100101111101010101101101111101011011111110101011010101010110101111001010111

"ÕZªZuU«UUJ_U·ÖþU¯+" ???
that’s no way to code

What about as an open source package you have to download and install, but you need specific packages to install it, and those packages all have to be compatible with your system setup, and if it’s not you have to recompile your operating system for it to work.

(kamikazee) #13

Gentoo would do that in one night, so that’s too modern.

No, rather record it on those good ol’ tapes. I still got hundreds of meters of that stuff.

When ET:QW is released you will get a single number (probably in book form). You only need to typewrite the number with a hexeditor, save it into a file and then unzip this file with gzip - voila!

Quakewars will come shipped in a hugearse coinslot arcade machine and you have to pay 25 cents to play it every time.
