Enemy Territory Demo to AVI problem

Ok, i have the demo in ET made, and i know how to record that to give me tga’s so i can make a avi out of them. But when i render all the TGA files to make the avi, i noticed some of my footage wasnt recorded. It does not make enough tga’s… It cuts off the last min of footage. Which, in my case, is around the 10,000th frame/tga file. I would like to find a way to get all the tga’s recorded, in one run, so i can make a avi of the whole demo file. I would like to record the demo at 30FPS, but 24FPS would be okay too.

Here’s some technical data.
Et is up to date, Demo was recording in a Shrub mod server.
Computer stats:
O/S: Windows Xp pro SP2
Intel 3.0Ghz w\ Hyper Threading enabled
800Mhz Front Side Bus
1024MB of dual channel RAM (PC3200) (512MB on each channel)
Nvidia FX5900 video card 128MB
80GB SATA hard drive, with a little under 8GB of it actually used up. (i just re-partitioned my hard drive last week lol)

If there is any other important information i missed, let me know.

use a lower framerate for recording, produces less tga ss

ET only uses for figures in the numeric part of the filename (e.g. shot0000.tga), so I guess 10000 images is max unless you make some clever bat file that moves the files to some other folder(s) as they are created. It shouldn’t be too hard to sync the sequences if you record it in two runs though.

10000 images is only 6 1/2 minutes at 25 FPS…

How long is the section you’re trying to record? I do all mine at 30fps and have yet to run out… you trying to do a full round or something? You’ll have to split it up if you are.

I don’t know which one is worse…the guy making the wallhacked AVI…or the guy that knew the place to gather that information.

I only visit the odd cheat site to keep an eye on the latest developments so i can spot cheaters easier :wink:

DarkangelUK, im trying to record about 7 mins of demo.
EB, thank you for the link, but i already tried there and, iam using QVM.

I do appreciate you covering up that IP and web address, besides the fact of what you covered it up with… But i dont care, still was nice of you.
Even though i came here with good intentions, it seems like you didnt realize this, or maybe you did… i dont know… But no harm done. No offence taken. It is all in fun and games i suppose.
