Enable cheats?

Quick question how do I enable cheats in ET? I want to test some stuff out on a server running on my comp just for me, but to do this I need to enable cg_thirdperson 1 but It tells me it’s cheat protected, can I enable It in anyway?

load the map with the

/devmap mapname

command.
