The whole “seeing through walls” thing is fine with me based on how it seems to work. It’s simply replicating what our brain already does
…so you don’t have to do it yourself.

Your brain can spot enemies through walls? Your one of those x men arent you?!!
What he means that your brain extrapolates how far people go behind walls. A: this should require effort and the game shouldn’t do this for you. B: You simply shouldn’t see what people behind walls are doing, how they’re facing and when they move. At least not without a sufficient cost, and them having a shot fired is not a sufficient cost.
yeah thats what i think. its a SHOOTING game and if that was the way they they are implementing the rim lighting then you have to play the game (in my opinion) in a more hit and run fashion. Otherwise your gonna get teamed up on all the time. Or at the least your gonna get spammed with grenades.
No, but having seem them go around the corner, I can track their movement by sound, especially if they are shooting/reloading, etc. If that’s how it works, I don’t have a problem with it.
Why we still talking about this as if it’s a puzzle or game flaw? It’s been confirmed that it was due to a homing device from an operative’s ability.
OK… So…
That latest video only ever shows one person visible through a wall, even when you see multiple people move behind the walls…
Anyone else want to bet the guy you can see is a mission objective? (when he’s red, it means it’s your job to kill him)

I was under the impression that someone already confirmed it was the Homing Beacon Operative ability.
Of course not. Having the ability to mark enemies so that they can be seen through walls is a balanced debuff. Having the ability to clearly see people in your field of vision is just crazy talk.
That’s exactly how I think about it actually. I also wouldn’t mind if the orange glow was a passive ability.
My qualms lie with the orange glow, not with abilities that tag players.
Did you see it in the recent 720p footage? Cause I didn’t and I’d love for you to point it out to me.
You can see it in the vg247 footage. It isn’t really obtrusive, but it is in there.
Yeah I did, but it was subtle because the shots were up close or in bright locations. The intensity is map-sensitive.
