Wow a show of nothingness.

No excitement,no innovation & no Splash Damage.

:frowning:

:stroggtapir: {---- Where are you?

(BioSnark) #2

I thought dishonored and watch dogs looked promising and Hitman / Deus Exā€™ish.

(Gir) #3

I just want Doom 3 BFG

(Nail) #4

Halo 4, now with bigger bugs

not software, protagonists

(Indloon) #5

CoD looked so horrible, the colors wereā€¦ ƶak, I felt sick after watching it.

Halo 4 was exciting.

Assassinā€™s Creed 3, no words for that epic game :open_mouth:

Watch Dogs, so hardcore, I was impressed of gameplay, looking forward to it for sure!

Farcry 3 looked cool. But Iā€™m looking forward to Medal Of Honor, the single-player was so epic in MoH 2010 and it continues in Warfighter ^^

But me before Microsoft E3:

Microsoft E3:

ā€¦

Btw, where was SplashDamage??

Btw, where was SplashDamage??[/QUOTE]

the E3 Press Conferences is all about Console Games not hard core PC game makers like SD :stroggtapir:

I only liked the WW2 Cod Shooters, when they moved away from that, i disliked Cod,

Call of Duty 2 is my Favourite COD game.

(Dthy) #7

Oh IT Crowd, you will be missed. :frowning:

Iā€™m wondering if PAX isnā€™t going to see some announcements. Seems E3 has gotten to the point where unless youā€™re some mega publisher you get drowned out by all the noise. Spent this evening catching up on stuff and didnā€™t really see anything about DayZ but if you trawl the twitters many people (Bungie) were going up to rocket to say how much they loved it.

Valve was also very quiet, sat through an agonising hour of GT/Spike to get 2 minutes of Chet saying CS:GO is being released Aug 21st, a few days before Pax.

So the question is to SD. Got your tickets booked for Seattle?

(Mustang) #9

Only interested in PC releases, yes Iā€™m looking at you Halo 4

EDIT: When the frack did Alan Wake get released on PCā€¦ goes to investigate

(Slade05) #10

Watch Dogs? Hrdcore?

Are you even trying?

(SockDog) #11

These tweets kind of sum up my fears for Watch Dogs.

Maybe Iā€™m just cynical, but I always imagine the hidden in-game instructions when watching awesome E3 demos.
David Rosen (@Wolfire)

E.g. for Watch Dogs, imagine it saying ā€œPress ā€˜xā€™ to trigger car crash nowā€. If you donā€™t, you lose, and the level resets.
David Rosen (@Wolfire)

As for ā€˜Hardcoreā€™, I heard Keighley refer to CoD as hardcore several times on some E3 coverage. Clearly the term is now fully adopted in that fairy land where if you wish it hard enough itā€™ll be true.

(BioSnark) #12

I wasnā€™t blown away by wd or anything else but the ā€œhidden in-game instructionsā€ seemed to be saying ā€œwait in the gallery for a confrontation and shootout.ā€

I forgot to mention XCOM, which looks promising as ever. No discernible gameplay in this one, sadly, but then itā€™s a turn based strategy. Also, lots of nice Planetside 2 footage. Yay vehicle whoring

EDIT:
Having replayed it in full screen, I actually quite like the Interstellar Marines mp concept demo. Looks and runs good for Unity but the gameplay is lovely when it gets pitch black. Otherwise, eh, okay.

(Christophicus) #13

Was hoping to see SD at E3 too, although given that they hadnā€™t announced their attendance, that seemed unlikely :(.

Nice to hear that they are listening to us & still value this community

(tangoliber) #15

There wasnā€™t much that interested me at E3. Everything seemed so scriptedā€¦

Iā€™m fine with that. Really looking forward to Splash Damageā€™s PC game.

lol interesting article
devs call them whales
gamers call them daddy gamers

(acQu) #17

Pretty long now :stuck_out_tongue: I have never heard of this game though, but grabbed it randomly from the store. Very good game!

(Mustang) #18

Dang I was super pumped for this game years ago, but lost interest when they announced the PC version was to be no more. Should probably pick-up a copy now, if only to show support for Remedy continually nagging Microsoft to allow them to do so.

(SockDog) #19

Might as well wait a couple of weeks for the Steam Summer Sale, itā€™s been heavily discounted a few times already so will probably go for a song when the sale starts.

(acQu) #20

aLL i cann say is that you wonā€™t regret buyin the PC version. There are some scenes in this game which really freaked me out. Well of course i could go on and describe it to death,ƶā€¦just see for yourself ^^. Some stuff is really done great. Especially i like that the game has a story and is not some of the other stupid FPS shooters. The PC version of this game also has some really good reviews on some famous magazins. It is again stunning how such a good game has not so much popularity. I had probably the best pick, because i did not expect anything and got the full package right in my face ^^
