DZM Trick jump (itself, not the map)

I have seen some guys jumpin around like it’s new years day and they won the lottery in a lot of servers i play. Apparently it’s found out to be that there was a sort of “glitch” or something that you can do this super jump. (I can do it too, i’m not bitching or ragging on others) But was this intended to find out? Or was it purely mistake? Also, will it appear in ET?

Ack, I saw that other post by the guy who wanted to know stuff, well, he said it sloppy and you cats didnt know how to respond. How bout this…

  1. Is that super jump a glitch, or intended to be found?
  2. Will it be present in ET?
  3. (assuming not a glitch and it’s intentions were on purpose) When I do the jump, there is a skip that is possible as well with it. How come (most of the time) other people and I encounter the landing to put you to a dead stop and damage you? Where as another person (say a clanmember from apical) does that same EXACT move and fly over the part you landed on and were stopped dead in your tracks? Is that part of lag/ping/fps?

Not sure entirely, but I believe its to do with your FPS. I know that some players believe that pmove_fixed should be 1 on any server so that people with less FPS dont have the disadvantage when playing against players with a high fps.

I read somewhere that theres a particular point on a map where you can jump off and suffer health loss if you dont have a high fps, when another player with a high fps does not suffer the health loss. If pmove_fixed is 1 then it fixes this problem. Not entirely sure if this is true but Im sure there is a website out there which explains things in more detail :slight_smile:

you have to practice your strafe jumping a lot

en watch there mousemovement while jumping, combine this with strafe + sprint in air.

I can jump 25.5 DZM but can’t complete the map :slight_smile: allthought if you can jump 24 DZM you should be able to complete the map… but those annoying combojumps make me freaking :wink:
