Dynamiting stuff (brisge) problem (???)

I’ve noticed this:
if you plant a dynamite by the bridge and THEN the allies build the bridge the explosion of the dynamite won’t take the bridge down.

Wouldn’t it be more logical for the dynamite to blow up stuff when the stuff is there and not just if the stuff was there when planting the dynamite ?

This is a problem because if i plant the dynamite on the bridge BEFORE the bridge is reinforced and THEN allies reinforce the bridge the dynamite won’t make any damage what so ever.

… really frustrating

I also have noticed this as well. Its hard enough to plant on the bridge without it disspaering once they reinforce it.

It’s an annoying bug.

BTW: Does the dynamite disapear if u plant it under the bridge ? hmm… I’ll test this myself next time… just a though…

it doesn’t dissappear
it does its usual “KABOOM” but nothing gets destroyed

dynamite only destroys stuff if its within a trigger_objective box when it was planted.

should be easy enough to fix though, just check for the trigger_objective when it explodes too.

Well I think it’s ok like this. I mean have you ever heard of someone planting dynamite to blow something up before it’s even been built?!

Then again have you heard of someone building a bridge with a pair of pliers?

I think this is fair and they chose to do this for gameplay reasons.

You should build something THEN try to destroy it. Not just spam the area with dynamite.

Much more fun that way.

I agree that dyno spamming should not be allowed, but there is a legitimate bug: If they build the first half of the bridge and you plant dyno under it, the dyno will not explode if they build the second half of the bridge before your dyno blows up. I don’t think that building the second half of the bridge should “defuse” the dyno planted on the first half.
