DVD problem

(ShadoWKilleR) #1

My DVD got burned, and I need a way to install Quake Wars that does not involve the original disc that I own, I will even PM my CD key to an administrator for proof.

Find a friend who has it. Realistically, you can probably find it in a shop pretty cheaply these days. A local bookstore had it for $3 recently! I went to buy out all of their copies, but someone had already done it. I’m waiting until they restock . . .

There are enough torrents out there. Just get one, install it and login with your account /create a new one with your key.

that is the problem, I can’t find one.

nvm found one, all I had to do is add “torrent” to the search -_-"

@geppy it took me a whole 30 minutes to udnerstand what are you talking about, and I figured out that you meant that the games DVD got burned, that is wrong, my PC’s DVD drive got burned, still thanks for trying to help

  • install the game on another computer and simply copy the ETQW folder
  • create an image of the DVD on another computer and install it with daemon tools

someone lock this thread as I see people don’t care I already found a solution.

edit: and btw your idea sucks because I still need a DVD to copy 5 GB of data, and my pc’s DVD got burned, sorry if it sounds harsh, but that’s life.
