Dual Monitor Support?

(Python) #1

Is dual monitor’s supported in Enemy Territory? If so how do i go about configuring it to work across two monitors?

(the forums search is broken or i would of looked there)

Thanks,

I hope it at least has good mouse capture like most games do. I hate playing a game where my mouse wanders onto monitor2 causing my game to become minimized…yes I’m looking at you kotor.

you might want to look at the setup guide from when you bought the monitors. Or just do a google search of how to configure dual monitors. BTW, I don’t think a game has to be specifically programmed to support dual monitors, I’m pretty sure that dual monitors will be able to play any game. Although I’m totally clueless about this type of thing so I could be wrong.

There’s a big difference between being “able to play” and true multi-monitor support (which ET doesn’t have) where you display different images on different monitors (*). What is it you want to do Python?

  • like having the command map on one monitor and playing on the other.

Dual monitors are more subject to the graphics card and driver set you’re using. Most GeForce cards these days have dual monitor support by connecting the 2nd screen via DVI (which i use), then using the nvidia nview software to configure them, which is very easy. Obviously Ati’s work more or less the same way, but i’ve never owned one so can’t say how that goes exactly.
