what is the default key for this? I never knew this existed

It only excists in RtCW, the default key is “P”, i think its not possible in OSP though, should work fine in Shrub.
You can bind it to any key in the Controls menu or with:

bind x "+dropweapon"

it was pretty useless in rtcw as there was only one weapon most players could ever use. now in ET when you can pick up emeny smg’s they remove the key!

the best use is making it easier to pick up weapons that sometime seem reluctant to switch with the use key

otherwise highly coordinated clans that probable use teamspeek

Drop weapon was invaluble in Rtcw if you used the panzer alot :wink:
