sometimes (well, quite often) when you tap out and you hear the dropweapon click as you throw your weapon, it ends up a double click sound. never heard it from 3rd person so im assuming its a cgame bug for 1st person.
i believe ive heard the sound while picking up weapons as well…
figured this out.
if you’re dead, but not tapped out to limbo… and there is someone else dead, but tapped out to limbo they spectate other players… however, if the other people are spectating you when you tap out you hear the double tap…
i guess someone forgot to add a test for dead+spectator when tossing weapons going into limbo in the code…
would also explain the ‘weapon popping out of you from nowhere’ bug…
