Do you play better with 400 DPI?

What’s really nuts is how much sense it makes, the lower the sens is the more control you have over fine tuning moments. Even your twitch improves, since your arm will be able to remember large swipes better than small movements with your wrist for nailing that quickscope or air shot.

A friend of mine named AMC told me if I learned how to play like that I’d do a lot better with the Ambassador and Spy, probably could even have gotten to Platinum. But I just stopped having fun with the game, it wasn’t fun to pub anymore and I don’t have the time to dedicate to playing on a team. Work, college, those are more important, but this is definitely my favorite hobby, and hopefully career. Making games anyway that is, playing them as a career would just kill it for me.

I tried playing with lower sense but then when I play other games my aim equals to a pig firing from the hip so I prefer to keep my sense at something I can transfer to other games since I get really bad habits from playing other video game.
I tried to run and wall jump in TF2
This video says what CPI is and what DPI is and it also has a lot of other interesting information.

There is also a PC Gamer article that has a ton of good information that I read a while back.
I was just about to link that video lol. I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve had to link that in the comments section of mouse reviews.

Not gonna lie guys, thought this was all some black magic shit.

Turned my DPI to about 600 and my ingame sensitivity up, and I didn’t know I was capable of melting people with headshots until now.

It really just depends on your mouse. Some sensors perform differently depending on what DPI setting you’re using but any mouse using an avago 3310 or 3366 sensor shouldn’t have that problem. Same goes for 1000 vs 500 Hz polling rates.
