No, I consider him the most useless merc in the game presently as he is, his concussion grenades are the only worthwhile thing about him. He has a fairly weak LMG, an inconsistent timik, and a mileage may vary stark. His gigantic hitbox makes him an even easier target than Rhino is.

The grenade is way overpowered. I just played a round where I was blind half the time. Even turning away doesn’t help much.

I agree with you 100%, i just wish they make his LMG a lil a bit better. That thing could spray the whole mag without killing anyone.

Like him, just bothers me that I can flash myself across the map and that vs a skyhammer with an m4 my chances are close to 0 because I have to ads so I’m just sitting there against one of the most accurate guns in the game… :confused:

Flashing yourself even if you arent close to the nade is incredibly stupid. Needs some serious rework. Right now, its borderline unplayable.

Fragger adds more to the team just in general and as an assault than Thunder presently can.

Only thing that greatly annoys me about him, outside of how outclassed he is loadout-wise against Fragger, is how conc nades affect your mouse movement. That’s genuinely frustrating.

I genuinely think playing him long term would cause damage to my eyes. I assumed when they said the grenade would blind enemy players they meant temporarily.

Honestly I grow tired of people judging mercs so quickly out of the gate.

He’s a very fun merc to play for me personally, he FEELS like Fragger so much except for the Concussion nade. And not only that he’s ever so slightly bulkier, making it possible to survive a headshot from the MoA and a few hits from the REVIVR.

If they made the MK 46, and the K 121 for that matter, a little more hipfire friendly when you tapfire instead of spraying, he’d be perfect.

Yeah, I need more time personally to make a judgement. I spent almost a week with Stoker before I finally felt like I knew just how good he is in a lot of situations and it will probably be longer for Thunder since his FB is bugged.

Thunder is fun, but ineffective. Kinda like Phantom.

I’d say that he could make a worthy replacement for Stoker or Fragger with a few tweaks.

With the Timik or Mk 46 he’s a fucking monster, I love this guy.
