I personally hate this game mode. If I want to plant bombs and so on, I’ll play cs:go or something else. I usually avoid these missions.

Not really. I don’t mind it but I think the amount of rounds played should be lower due 99% of the matches ending 7-0 or something like that.

Looks like I’m as far as this poll has started up it’s gears, alone so I feel like I should detail it a bit.

Mission idea itself? It’s doable, much better than winning missions which I loathe overall. Its in the same category as “Gain X amount of xp in Y mode” type things. I wouldn’t mind if Execution missions would be changed a little more towards that type either. Gets me playing, winning ones dont.

The amounts current missions require? Completely over the board, needs to be at least 5 less from each, even more if developers are fixated of sticking with this mission format. Playing 4 times 7:0 games no matter you’re the stompee or stompe’d (thank golly for more even minlvl10 servers now) gets dull for mere 1000 credits.

Peeps seem to have so mixed emotions of Execution ones disliking it wouldn’t be playing it anytime if there was no missions to it, be honest about that. Some would try it out once a month or so to see if it feels any different, they happen to get that 7:1 type of game and quit it for another month. Obviously there is something wrong with the implementation of the mode, but I think things like larger map pool, tweaking of abilities etc. will have potential of making it much more enjoyable.

Oh, also 5v5 servers and/or MM support.

I personally don’t like it. I want to play an objective based game, that’s what makes DB unique. At least that’s my opinion. :slight_smile:

While I enjoy execution, I’d much rather play stopwatch and objective, simply because I’m not a good shot and I like playing my games, not watching others play it. So my reasons a bit more personal, but I will always abandon execution missions.

Its alright, gets me play some exectuion every now and then. The only missions that i cancel a lot are stompwatch (unless its 1k cr which i am willing to suffer for) and some game mode xp missions, simply cause they progress way slower than combat or support xp. (I get carried away with the killing stuff too much, i only plant a bomb every now and then but thats it)

I don’t like Execution but I can’t complain about more credits. Maybe it could at least be a few less rounds. The “win X rounds” mission sucks though.

I don’t mind it, but I do get annoyed at the frequency I see it :neutral:

Can’t even remember the last time i saw something like “Get 15000xp in Objective mode” … At the same time I quite literally couldn’t tell you the last time that I didn’t see “Play 25 rounds of Execution” or “Win 13 rounds of Execution”

But I guess it’s new and they want to try and force people to play it. Which is annoying, because I don’t enjoy it as much as Stopwatch.

Well I certainly like it more than get x xp in Stopwatch, I’d spend less time doing the Execution matches than I would if I didn’t auto cancel any Stopwatch mission I get.

I don’t stay away from the mission cuz credits.
But I don’t like the way it is now.

25 Rounds to get 750c? That’s 3 matches!
On Stopwatch challenges, you need to get 12k XP to get this amount of Credits, I usually get 15k per match in average on a single match.

I know that the matches are shorter than Stopwatch… but they don’t incentive the players to play well. I lost the count of how many times I entered in a Execution match, and saw people AFK farming this mission, without helping the team.

These challenges should be replaced with “Get X XP on Execution”
Also, remove the “Win X Rounds” would be a good idea since this incentive unbalance.

Execution on a free-for-all server is:

  • 50% a game of whoever-has-less-new-players-stomps
  • 25% total randomness when teams are balanced but low level
  • 25% good games.

So no thanks. It’s probably much better on lvl10 servers but I’m not going to wait for one for this mission.

I hate whenever that mission rolls in my to do list. I toss it away immediately. It can’t be that 1000c mission takes 3 games to complete, while the other 1000c missions take only one if ur good.

No, I hate them and it forces me to play a gamemode I don´t want to play.
