I don’t own him, but I finally had the chance to test him. Great Merc, maybe my new go-o supporter once I bought him? Time will tell.
Do you like Stoker?
Stoker is my go to merc now. He has good assault weapons and moves faster than Fragger (I prefer movement over durability), so for me he is also a very capable killer class on top of being a support.
I personally don’t have a problem with the cooldown on the Molotov but it does seem kind of odd that it is more than double Fragger’s CD. Fire support classes in general have higher CDs on their abilities but his is also the only one that can be negated. Take that as you will.
The only complaint I have right now is his molotov is a little buggy which leads to an occasional frustration of feeling like I was cheated.
Now that he is on rotation I can’t stress enough how his ability needs a slight cool down buff. I’ve just been playing Fletcher this whole time and no Molotov stays around for long. It’s like it has lost it’s initial effectiveness where people had no clue as to how to handle him. I hope their consider buffing his ability a bit.

Agreed. I have had the Molotov explode and the fire appearing a couple of meters next to it instead of around the impact. Also I’ve experienced a creep Molotov where I was repairing the EV in a spot where the Molotov wasn’t hurting me and suddenly after 4 or 5 seconds it suddenly gave me damage while I hadn’t moved a bit…
As I pretty much main Fletcher, when Stoker was first released (CW update) I could toss a couple of stickies into the fire then detonate them and effectively counter the fire. Now after this last fine tuning update, it seems the stickies are exploded by the fire before they land in it. This completely negates the sticky and does nothing to counter the fire.
Is this the intended effect, a bug, or am I the only one who’s noticed?
I have played him, and it feels fine, except the molotovs, a direct throw its most of the time an instant death. No matter what.
You are saying that you dont like him because it is way better than kira or arty

Stickies and other explosives have always exploded on contact with the flames. They will still clear the fire.

I wish that was the case, but sadly about 40-50% of the time, they just explode above the fire without anything happening.
