ET-Pub is my favourite.
With additional sound-/graphic-/skin-packs.

BTW, I don’t think you can consider ETPro or ETPub with custom sounds or graphics a ‘gameplay’ mod since they do about nothing to the actual gameplay. :wink:

only etpro, i like ET and so i want to play ET and not some total modified ET like tce or ctf, i play ET because it’s ET :stuck_out_tongue: . i think skinpacks and soundpacks aren’t necessary, ET looks fine how it is. etpub just sux imo (sorry for that, but that’s just my opinion)

I like etpro and falckonet :slight_smile: (etpub also sometimes but there are to much add-ons and skins and I don’t like that :()

Call it a moded mod. :smiley:

ETPro, ETPub and FalckonET here, we had all except the last one on the Fg| server.
ETPub can be fun if it’s a well setup server. Problem is that kiddies can do a lot wrong, so ETPro is generally better configged.
And FalckonET since it’s a mod in development, and quite a refreshing view on ET. :slight_smile:

hmm, etpro adds better hitboxes, anti-lag etc, I would consider that adding to game play more than iron sights that take up half the screen, or modern uniforms and weapons, sorry I vote ETPro

hard queston. i would like to play new graphic mods and cool changes to the gameplay to keep it fresh

however for ET there seems to be a lack of quality mods. most things made seem to be rushed half arsed skin packs and 5 min maps

ETPub’s my favourite too! With high quality sounds/graphics/skins. Or if not high quality then pure ETPub. I voted for pure gameplay mods.

ETPro only, though I also like Domination (lack of servers :frowning: ).

Sound packs are mostly annoying (especially the ones with custom voice chats), some skin packs are ok though I wish they were optional.

bad examples of 5 min mods but here all try to copy element from other games no fresh stuff to keep me interested

Well, got ideas? They’re still looking for good stuff in FalckonET. :stuck_out_tongue:
Seriously, every game copies elements from others imo. ET is built on RTCW, and as such copies elements from it. It plays differently however, and it has the gameplay that does it all. ETPro has no true graphical changes, so it copies the whole graphical theme from ET. But still, it improves competitive play, so it’s good in what it does.
Most of the mods you refered do an attempt at changing ET, so they still bring something new to it imho, and some do resemble other games but are still not the same.

Actually I wanted to start another poll.
With questions about gameplay.
But I came up wit 12 combinations (speed combined with classes combined with objective mode).
And a bug-fixed / improved version of the original.
Will try to reduce the list.
Or may be split it into two votes.
Have to think about it.

I like playing a pure gameplay mod (ET-Pro / ET-Pub)
means playing only mods without any submods?
Then i vote for it…
@Nail: no , TCE adds more to gameply but it also takes a lot because it is TC, and then again etpub adds more gameplay than etpro , so etpro = fixed ET , not gameplay mod ( changing anti-lag and hitboxes didnt anything major to whole game , so who likes ET as it is loves ETPro )
