If a Vasilli nerf is needed, then it can stay exclusively for him and only when he’s aiming down sights (and other sniper rifles for other classes)- but for everyone else, it is absolutely awful to deal with.

This game was never realistic. I don’t play this game for realism. If I wanted realism in my game, I’d go play another one that focuses on it- like Insurgency. Here, it’s a different animal and it should be treated as such. I never liked Aimpunch in FPS’s, and I was severely disappointed in the devs when they added it here when it had no need to be added. This game is about skill-based gameplay. Aimpunch adds randomness to the skill. If they remove the skill, they remove me. This ain’t hearthstone.

Adding in such an anti competitive feature into a game marketed as a skill based and competitive is very concerning, especially this early on.

Little changes like these will add up. You can push one or two, but tread carefully. Because with enough of them, Splash Damage will alienate the core player base for Dirty Bomb. If that happens, one should hope that there will be enough paying casuals to replace them.

Either way I’ve never been a huge fan of aimpunch and would rather have it removed.

Ew, what? My aim is really bad since I’m new to FPS. I thought I had such a hard time taking down people who engage me because I just sucked, but… It bugs me that there’s a mechanic that throws off my ability to aim and gives me a disadvantage. :confused:

Aimpunch increase and “no plans to change Phantom” have me seriously doubting these devs and the future of this game. Wish they listened to criticism.

I’ve just registered to say NO to increased flinching. If you want to balance the game out by nerfing snipers, then do so. But don’t affect the whole game. Nerf their scoping or something but don’t increase flinching for everyone…

You still haven’t provided any valid reason to keep it in the game. What you ask for is to get unfair advantage while you are shooting someone from behind. You already where in a better position, and you already damaged him before he could you. This is enough. Why would you want to force flinching and hinder the opponent’s chance to fight back effectively?

Who shots best should matter, not who shots first.

This is a fast-paced, headshot-oriented, arcady shooter and there is no place for increased flinching in it.

Made an account just to vote on this. Aimpunch is a terrible idea and I agree with the post above, its a lazy way to address game balance.

Dirty bomb is going down the wrong direction with this and I certainly wont be playing much. The 1% rule really applies to this situation, here is a link to what I am talking about.

Overall extremly sad with the latest patch, I hope DB is not another game that releases unrefined patches week in week out.

Aim punch was probably added due to Phantom. When Phantom charges at you, you can hold him off by firing at him and walking backwards. The aim punch prevents him from hitting you.

Aim punch gone would also mean Phantom nerf/tweak. Just saying.
