If the new maps need to charge more money I can accept it, but most people don’t,
I think now the SD’s way is fine. The DLC is free charge in couple weeks, and also provide a special sale for Brink original game, so the original players can play the new DLC free charge and the new players will spend less money to purchase Brink+ All DLCs, It is a splendid idea, SD can earn the money, old player can play for free, new player can spend less money, and …the player of Brink will more and more, finally the community will become very strong and large!!!

They gotta fill up the Ark with maps!! There are still a lot of unexplored areas. Maybe make the far left top corner of the Ark 1 map and it can be a LARGE open map in contrast to most of all the maps we currently have.

And another map for the military naval port at the bottom center of the Ark :).

Maybe the Resistance wants to steal a Battle Cruiser from the port and the Security has to stop them. Battle starts on land and ends on the battle cruiser fighting for its control room.

Most of you will tell me to GTFO.

But I’d be willing to pay for 4 new maps and access to LVL 30 (Rank 6) if thats what it takes.

I’m happy with FT and Labs, but more content is DEFINITELY needed. And if that is not a possibility because some people believe DLC is OWED to them and will not pay, then that’s a shame.

I’ve paid for every Halo map, Gears map and Assassin’s Creed expansion. Why would Brink be different?

We got something for free. Bonus! But SD won’t be able to sustain a continuation of content out of good will.

But what is required with a paid content is a quality and punctual delivery. None of this 2 month delay crap. What’s more, only 2 more maps is not enough. 4 would truly keep the masses going for months until the next release. And more unlockable content always adds to the experience.

I have to say that although I respect SD for all they’ve done, I agree. I would absolutely pay for more DLC for Brink, it’s just I don’t want to be given a date until it’s quite likely the date will be met.

That’s not to say I don’t want updates, we don’t really get enough of those as is. What I don’t want though is to get all psyched up for a potential release only to have it blow over without any word.
