So free booze with DLC’s?

It definitely worked for my house mate. Woke up very early this morning to some love-noises in the living room and it really was a mess.

Maybe it’s not the same people who work on the DLC content and on the patches & fixes…
Maybe each team have it’s own release timeline.

Let’s not spit on a free DLC, even though for many it should’ve been included in the beginning.

And let’s continue to demand the few critical fixes.

(ironically I spent all last night cleaning my house, garden and scrubbing my Weber in preparation for my mates coming for a BBQ on Friday after work! And the GF getting back from Cyprus on Sunday!!( dont think she would be impressed by this weeks pile of 8 empty 2L diet coke bottles and 4 bags of peanut M&M’s from my Brink marathons and DOW 2 Last Stand Marathons!)) (SD take note!)

And yeah… let’s be positive about the DLC. Arguments over “it should / shouldn’t have been in the game originally” are pointless now. We’re getting it free. It’ll be in your game soon. Lets enjoy it and encourage more content and fixes in the future.

If people had a little patience and chill a little they’d probably live longer and enjoy all their games more.

I can’t imagine SD would release DLC without some bug fixes aswell! Just be patient and lets see what we get.

Hopefully it’ll be fun and there looks like there’s plenty of space to expand on teh stats site so hopefully they’ve got lots planned for the future.

The two new maps sound good, but I can’t say i’m terribly excited about any of the other news since there’s nothing mentioned about updates for certain areas of the game which are clearly in need of attention.

Kinda like how DVD’s get released, then they release the directors cut that has more footage and bonus features… difference being you need to buy the whole thing again with DVD’s, where with Brink we’re getting the stuff that couldn’t be added for free. Thanks, you’ve just given me more optimism for the DLC.

I hope that they fixed the sound and the invisible enemys bug. Thats soooo anoying… have it every day… a couple of times in 3 hours of gameplay Fixing these bugs is in my opinion the higher priority… not to release the DLC this week… next week or the week after would be great too… but PLZ, fix the hardest bugs first! Dont wanne get happy from the DLC and get sad to see there the old bugs again!

I have zero problems with the game atm, neither do my friends, and I don’t hear people complain on servers. The patch seemed to fix it for practically everyone quite some time ago, it is surprising you still have problems.

There is a console version as well. You may have heard about it. It has problems. Many of them.

They don’t provide any reference for their claim that it will be out this week. Are you sure they’re not just a touch confused between the console patch release, the stat site release, and the “June” DLC release?

Free new content is nice and all that, but fixing performance issues should still be their main focus.

It could be this week, but I’m fairly sure for XBL at least, that most DLCs come on tuesday. Could be completely wrong, but I think they just assumed the June patch would come in the first few days of June.

You were making it look like the people who couldn’t run this game properly would be some fairly small minority which couldn’t be further from the truth.
