DLC hype?

You make it sound like it’s just a minority who aren’t happy, a hell of a lot of people are unhappy with the game, they all can’t be whiny teenage trolls. You can’t deny that the release was a total shambles. How the game was released in the state that is was is beyond me. SD and Bethesda do deserve some of the flak they are currently getting.

The game is quite fun granted but that fun is overshadowed by glaring oversights and missing features, quite a lot of which were pointed out on these forums about a year ago or so (1 button to rule them all and such). Those who did point this stuff out were branded haters or something and were told that SD know how to do PC controls or something along those lines and told we can’t compare brink to existing games were some similar features were already tried and failed.

Rightfully so, they had their chance to impress with the release, a few minor bugs and missing features are forgivable and unavoidable these days but Brink had quite a few major bugs (sound/performance) and quite a lot of missing features (1st person spec/demo record) on release, most of which are still missing a few months down the line.

While I tease tokomat when he says something similar he does have a point, ET:QW was in far better shape on it’s release than Brink was yet ET:QW was SD’s first full commercial title, one would have thought they would have learned from their past mistakes and Brink would have had an awesome release, instead it went the other way somehow…

Yeah, news is good yaknow. But they’re being rude dudes .

(Bethesda are the ones with a cork in their asses, just SD is having a hard time getting it out.)
