No, it’s an official rumor when SD announces it.
Green eye lets you see more of the battlefield than the red dot scope or something like that; doesn’t really matter though as even with sights its still spray’n’pray.
By the way, Jess, it isn’t that the game is too hard (it’s too easy lol) or that we’re CoD maniacs, but there’s only 530 people online right now and that’s mostly European players. The American players sometimes don’t even have enough on to top the Top 100 (that means less than like 300 ~ 400 people on) list on Steam. Last night BRINK had less people on than indie titles who didn’t have advertising or the hype like BRINK. It’s that the game is just that bad that no one wants to play it until they fix stuff and even then the boost in players will only be temporary.
Not when you are using a Ritchie/Caeser (talk about hand sniper) or any other 1 shot/burst fire gun…
The DLC and the associated title update are still in submission at both Microsoft and Sony and will be released when both of them give the okay.
Totally realize that this is a frustrating boat we’re all in, but we’re unable to release the new content and title update without completing this process.

Can you give us some facts about the reasons why this is not released for PC then?
What are you working on in the meantime? Sorry im curious and lack the english for not letting it sound trollish:/
desperately looking for proper info

Finally…Thank you badman for the response.
Sony and Microsoft need to kick it in the butt.
I’d just like to say this is not the first time badman has responded to a question this week. You guys should go to his profile and read what he says in posts if you really think he’s not doing anything.
I’d like to go out on a limb and tell you guys that STEAM doesn’t have the same protocol that SONY and MS have. It could be out on steam already probably. But it needs to be a simultanious release. They didn’t release the game early for PC when they felt it was finished. Why would they change those standards for DLC?

Doesn’t sound trollish at all! The DLC is coming to all three platforms at the same time. We’ve also got some pretty comprehensive game updates in the works for all three versions of Brink - will have more information to share on those in the future.
All three badman? So PC is actually getting additional tweaks from what’s already out? That makes me even more excited about the update.

It might be a good idea to post that as it’s own thread so people can see that’s still in submission.
I’m pretty sure he only makes something it’s own thread if it’s a PR update that was handed down to him. He’s just doing his job.
LOL. Do you guys expect badman to just make redundant posts like this one 70 times a day? Next you guys are going to need badman to tell you that Brink is still a real game. Or that it has a movement system called SMART.
Well thats better then nothing… LOL sorry for busting your balls so much but honestly dont see why atleast once a week there isnt some kind of announcement maybe thanking those still playing for supporting the game and letting us know whatever we can be told about. Just kind of a “Hey guys we see you all and aprreciate the support, this week blah blah blah will have more for you next week or if anything changes”, you know just give us an update and let us know whatever is new DLC or otherwise. Actually cant say I have seen anything on here about the Sprint Ad on IGN I have seen where you text Brink and your city to a number for the chance to have a party with a member of the SD team, assume its online gaming party but who the hell knows when its not advertised in detail or on this site at all to my knowledge. Only have seen it on IGN thus far.
You are a PR guy really…
Why?
Like?
now that sound concrete!
Thanks for replying anyway
Sooths the feeling of being abondoned.
I don’t wanna sound harsh, but please stop this “badman this and badman that thing”. I can read and understand his comments quite well without you cheering him on.
Don’t consider this as an offense, I’m happy too that we got some official word finally. But cheering on officials won’t bring the DLC any faster to our Hdd’s.

Not trying to his cheerleader. Just assuming this situation is currently out of his control and I remember badman always discussed stuff with us before. But what I’m seeing out of most of the board is everyone asking him to post the same information he posted just because. And if he did that everyone would criticize that no real information was shared and that he’s being deceptive.
The guy’s only here to help. And he can’t share everything he knows. And I imagine that’s got to be frustrating. Call me a cheerleader if you want but I’m just trying to have empathy for the guy.
PS: The part that really bothered me the most today was the attack in disguise over on the general discussions board in which someone made it look like it was a badman interview when it was just an agenda to personally attack the guy. In addition it was disrespectful because it was piggybacked next to the tully interview in an attempt to make the thread look legitimate.

it’s always easier to think about how you would do someone else’s job than to actually do their job (especially if you dont really know what goes into doing their job).
