Discussion about farious server settings.

I would let te get the settings from several servers admins, like antilag,bandwidth,gravity etc. and also why you use this setting, what the range of this setting is etc. maybe together we can get the best possible server setup.

Because is still havent figured out what bandwidth setting is the best, if antilag helps or just causes lag/warping and several other settings.

For example, i have set g_gravity 1000 but when i launch the server it sends this message: broadcast: print "Server: g_gravity changed to 800
"
I also tried 999 because i thought i whas out of range but it still sends this message.

Im not quite sure what exactly the problem you are stating, but the default gravity setting is g_gravity 800. If you want a low gravity game, try 100, as 0 would disable anyone from ever getting back down. Anytime you change this setting or any other cvar, you will get the broadcast message,

I dont want the gravity down i want it up :banana: so people will stop playing hopping bunnies and use the “bouncing” tricks.

In our config we have set it to 1000 but the server announces it is set to 800 and thats the problem, is it really 800 or is it 1000 like we have set in the config ?

You have to change the g_gravity in the map rotation file… otherwise it will default to the game standard … 800

You mean the campaign config? because the setting is original in the normal config.
