Disable map_restart vote?

Hey,

How do you disable the map restart vote?

when I press /allow and follow that by a tab, the map_restart thingie isn’t in the list

You go into the advanced menu when you host a server and untick the boxes which you don’t want to allow people to vote on.

I only have rcon access to the server
There is no other way to disable that vote?
(All the other votes went away just fine using rcon)

Does this work:
/disallow map_restart
/disallow vote map_restart
I’m not a rcon expert but if you haven’t tried these give it a go.

Actually, there is no way to disable the map restart vote in default ET. This was one of the most annoying features that was not addressed in the release. I know Shrub added a cvar for this vote and Bani may have also.

cosseeyyy… the man is right they forgot to make them so they can be disabled… shrub mod allows this… not tried it on our bani servers yet… ill tell you in irc if you can… me thinks if i speak nice to bani he will put it in if he hasnt already.

i cant tell because my servers have all voting disabled and if i host on this pc its puts me as ref.

doesnt g_voteflags 0 even get rid of it?

Nope, not as far as anything we tested, that’s why shrub added the cvar for us during beta testing of his mod. Only votes I have enabled are to kick and mute, both of which I’m leaning towards disabling. Vote options time and time again proof that lower life forms play ET.
