Dirtybomb Discord server.

Hi, few of us decided it’d be fun to throw up a Discord server for Dirty Bomb as there hasn’t been any yet before.

We’re a mixed group of comp players, with few casuals that regularly look to pug/play MM/public/whatever. Feel like hanging out and join us on a few rounds of public, or more? Hop on!

If you want private/team channels, drop me a pm - things can certainly be arranged. This is all very fresh and we’ve mostly just discovered discord and found it to be tons of fun.

Anyway! I recommend you to check out https://discordapp.com/, it’s a fun little app that combines the best in Teamspeak and Skype, it’s free, it’s very easy and supports a huge variety of devices. You can either run their web based client, download the app for desktop or even throw it on your mobile device. I feel like I should be paid for this.

A while back one of my local friends who streams (@scarfino) started using Discord after going to one con or another and it’s been awesome for us. So I definitely recommend people checking this out. It’s basically IRC for 2015 with built in VOIP and the developers are pretty awesome people that are super responsive. Also, it works across all platforms including a browser, a windows install, iOS and Android.

So I’ll definitely jump in on this. As far as the thread goes I think it’s just fine here in General.

Nice functionality, but I am not a fan of the EULA! But then again, it’s FREE (as in free beer), and who cares about their civil rights in the digital age…? v73.

Tons of people have joined, we’re way into the 150 and up. Few SD/Nexon folks are known to hop in as well. :slight_smile:

I was sceptical. I am using teamspeak since I have joined my team, in 2001. And it seems to be a perfect alternative. I am considering to switch my team from TS to discord now. Thanks a lot!

Would definitely recommend this, most the teamOMEPHA guys have moved onto this now, and honestly its just so good for ease of use and functionality.
