Results are here and Dirty Bomb is the winner! Congratulations!

Not much of a contest here, as Dirty Bomb blew away (sorry) the other contenders and scored an explosive (again, sorry) 74% of the vote. I’ve never actually played this game (or any of the titles in this category actually, aside from 20 minutes with Heroes of the Storm), so I don’t have much of value to add.

You guys obviously liked Dirty Bomb a lot, so well done to Splash Damage. Handshakes, drinks and claps all around.

I voted, but it’s kind of a weird vote to begin with. Heroes of the Storm vs. Dirty Bomb = amusing to see. Also never heard of PCInvasion before… :open_mouth:

I do understand that it may look like pay to win since 16 out of 18 characters are locked behind a pay wall/ grindfest.

Yes, agree, but in the end in a week of gaming you can unlock a 50k merc easily, doing missions, and again in the end there isn’t a merc stronger than another; you can make a great match with aura and with sparks as well as with stoker or skyhammer and so on. :slight_smile: with pay to win I referer to a system that allows you to pick better weapons or mercs just paying AND with an enormous and expensive way to unlock then with ingame credits. Dirty isn’t such a game. Weapons are inside the cases. You can pick up great loadouts just opening a random free case :slight_smile:

You don’t need all mercs. The game is perfectly playable with a small selection of mercs. If you have your favorite for each type of merc, you are already doing fine.

True. But sometimes it’s fun to fool around with mercs you don’t main.

I’m well aware of that. I said that I understand that it may look like pay to win due the large amount of mercs locked behind paywall/ grindfest.

Game is good, but voting it as best, while its still in beta stage is like buying a house based on a curtain color. Pass.
Few years back ive been playing GRP, game started superb, till Ubicrap did what they do best - turned game into total and utter shit(10% game, 90% p2w). And now, by the time game will pass 1 year since release mark it will probably be shut down.
