I think the current stuff is temporary. (not 100% sure)
-
They’ve already said that this is part 1 of 2, in part 2 they are going to tweak the characters more. (like you said - speeds)
-
Grenades are coming back, but not as they were. (Also mentioned multiple times on the forums)
-
Patch notes said they were removing minimap, but were going to implement a larger command map at a later time.
Dirty Bomb Closed Alpha Progress Update - August 6th 2013
The more I test it and think about it, the more the character-centered design seems to to work, but not in its current state. Waiting to see next update to confirm this.
I’m actually not trolling … I got almost everytime the payback kill with it
I believe you, but I was referring to the word “nice”. I mean does it feel rewarding to get kills for free?
The pub player will surely like it a lot. As I’m between the hardcore pub and average comp player, I kinda like it, isn’t “nice” but “fun”
Ye for pub players its.funny i guess, for comp players.its.just one more retarded and noob style cod feature which - i think nobody from the real compplayers - wants to see in our game :o
Its not like easy to kill somebody which is aware that you are having martyrdom. So I guess its a rather useless skill for Comp.
Personal opinion here, don’t care for debate on it: It’s cheap “aw you died, here, have a free kill”
Ailmanki:
Well yeah, that’s why a server admin will be able to stll keep it on in comp if he wishes
DA: have you tried it? It is not an easy kill - it is as timing and luck dependant as say arming a C4 randomly on a husky to kill someone on the street.
Totes is. Anyway, not debating it, just my opinion… will leave it at that.
It’s a bit lame, but it’s pretty funny too. Also, it gibs you, so saves your enemy bullets
I wouldn’t say its particularly lowskilled (I’m not saying it’s high skilled either!), you still have to time it right and there is a a beeping noise that gives it away and such but it is indeed cheap because you’re getting a reward for getting killed which is pretty lame if you ask me.
