Next update they should just state ‘Play one match to obtain your crate’ and half of the murmur would disappear

Or SD should just test the stuff they announce a month earlier with the experience that their game had this issue for atleast the last 3 events.

This crate drop is bugged, I have to contact the support team every day, I really feel sorry for them because they have to take care of such things instead of more important things (transmit bug reports, check cheaters account…). Devs should have tested and tested and tested that function before the crafting week.

I think there is only so much they can do with the amount of people and experience they have to work with. I think we are lucky they problems are small by comparison to some really bad stuff that could have happened. :slight_smile:

Cases being not awarded during events happen ever time. At this point I think SD should just drop this idea. Instead give us event currency after each match which we can exchange for goodies.

ofc it works perfectly now since they fixed it. When event started, me and others on discord weren’t able to get those crates. Restarting, playing match didn’t help. After Raziel said that it’s fixed, I got it.

worked from Thursday for me, only hitch I’ve ever had was when an update conflicted with my setup, next update fixed it and that was it since Alpha 3 years ago. I also run default config, not going to edit till release. too much stuff can get screwed up

it’s not actually IN the game, part of the UI iirc and handled separately along with Steam

If everything works for you, you’re lucky. But as you can see here:

there was an issue with those crates. And that issue was almost every ‘login’ event.

I would really like to know what issue caused those crates to not drop.
Don’t get me wrong, I love Dirty Bomb and I have always supported SD (even Nexon - they finally started to publish good games AND I heard Combat Arms is getting a lot of changes), but I don’t get it how the same error can happen every time.

never had an “event” issue, had a login prob once but it was on my end, I wonder if non default configs might be problematic

I think it is better to assume that it won’t be the last time it is going to happen. Coding is complex especially considering that not every one uses the same software and hardware to run Dirty Bomb. Problems will continue to exist because of this. SD is not perfect and I think demanding perfection from them is unfair. Demanding perfection from any one is unfair. Errors will happen. Life is a learning process no matter how long it takes. Time is relative. That’s just me though.

It is pretty interesting considering the past Events have also had problems with case drops and trinkets etc. but i NEVER was affected by any of them until this event and i did not receive my MercSERV Crate until after they ‘Fixed’ the issue.

Support helped me with my first case and I’m still waiting for reply on my 2nd…
Although I’ve managed to get the next 4 100% success by playing a game…

Technically all I do is just go into Assault course or Tutorial, leave, it pops up in the corner.
You can also just join a server and leave and it worked too o3o//

I am pretty sure at this point ( if I’m inferring correctly ) that it has something to do with my computer settings or my network settings or steam / compatibility , etc.
