It’s not all that bad bro even if you only have 10k Credits you can purchase 1k Cycles then you can buy a Culprit Case which gives you the Exclusive Culprit Loadout Skin for 500 Cycles leaving you with 500. Then you can prioritise whether you want to pursue either Trinkets OR Suspect Loadout Cards and PLAY LOTS OF MATCHES to earn you those Cycles.

Personally i have only spent around 20$ on this game and that was buying the Humble bundle pack for myself and also a few packs which i gave codes to a couple of noobs. So this Event i am going to spend 15$ on The Vengance Pack which includes Aimee & an Obsidian Culprit Card and also 5$ on the Skullsplitter Trinket since i want to support the devs a little for all the Fun i have playing Dirty

We can also pray to RNGesus for an Event Case to drop after playing matches although i did this in the Containment War and What The Dickens events and did not get one single event case lol

@jollyRacer have you watched any competitive matches? PDP Redeye is essentially meta. Vasilli is almost never picked, let alone bolt actions. The PDP is objectively the godking sniper rifle of choice in competitive play.

Am I the only one who can’t hit shit with the PDP? I can land at least half my shots with the MOA or FELIX, but I’m lucky to land one kill after expending nearly all my ammo.

I couldn’t disagree more. Basically everytime you see a Vassili in tournament, he’s gonna use the MOA. The combo Smoke + IR + PDP is great, but I have never seen a PDP Vassili in a tournament.

I don’t consider the PDP as the godking of snipers at all.

It’s irrelevant that the PDP is worse on Vasilli compared to the MOA, and it certainly is, because Vasilli is worse than Redeye. Redeye is objectively the better merc on abilities and hard counters Vasilli.

Hence why the PDP is the godking of sniper rifles. The mercs that have bolt actions get shut down by Redeye, and Redeye has the PDP. You have no reason to run anything BUT Redeye with a PDP, because any other sniper rifle pick will just get shut down by a Redeye with a PDP. The godking of recons is Redeye, and the godking of sniper rifles is the godking’s weapon of choice, which is the PDP.

You can buy any if you don’t want everything, but their prices differ

They’re priced as follows…
-Culprit Case 500 cycles
-SpamTrap Trinket 650 cycles
-Antivirus Trinket 2000 cycles
-Firewall Trinket 4500 cycles

besides gaining cycles, There’s a 10% bonus with the skullsplitter trinket that’s worth 5 USD you can buy cycles with credits at…
-First grade pack sold at 10000 credit granting you 1000 cycles
-Second grade pack sold at 50000 credit granting you 5250 cycles
-Third grade pack sold at 100000 credit granting you 10800 cycles

If you want all those and care Not one bit about the boosters and the Event cases it’ll be around 80k Credits to by all these, If you have 80k credits to spare you can get all 3 trinkets and the culprit case for one Second Grade Pack and three First Grade Packs.

Edit: The event looks awesome, but I’m really disappointed by looking at the patch notes…

No changes to Thunder’s health which doesn’t match his speed and his massive size doesn’t help, nor were his concussion grenades changed in a way to be as useful as Fragger. (There’s a new debuff mechanic but not applied to debuff grenades…?)

No changes to Phantom’s Refractive Armor, speed and health.

No changes to Fletcher’s sticky bombs.

No changes to the Felix to make it a viable alternative to other snipers, not even when the merc who’s coming up uses it…

No changes to headshot decapitation.
Since there is no reason to go for headshots when aiming at someone with 50hp other than just a bit more XP.

Perhaps a thought. What is better…to buy boosters and hope for the case to drop or elite cases with a guaranteed event case ^^

People will get upset that a new merc can kill them and then call for nerfs, this happens everytime.

Actually, a good technique a lot of developers use when they release new characters for a game is make them purposely and blatantly OP so that people will rush and buy them.

Then when everybody has bought it and people have complained enough, the character is nerfed where they should be.

Works every time like charm. Seen almost every game do it.

Sigh. I still remember the days when fragger could throw 2 grenades.
