The GSR can be used to great effect in CQC. I do that all the time on Red Eye.

@“Grave Knight” I strongly vote against the smg on Aimee mainly because of her hp and how her ability is suppose to function!

Having 80/90 hp puts you in a very disadvantageous position versus mercs like Fragger/Stoker etc. You’ll lose at least 70% of the time against experienced players in CQC. Actually what you’re looking for is an additional ability that comes with Phantom’s cloak. Which detects and marks enemies around him for several seconds while he’s invisible.

He’s a recon with smgs and spot. Your dream, buddy!

I look forward to the idea of a close ranged spotting recon but the HP of that merc has to be decent enough to be on the same playing field as the likes of assault mercs.
Otherwise, why would you rather pick a CQC merc over a sniper who can spot and assist with kills from range?

A question regarding the trinkets.

Can I purchase any of them that I want (with cycles) at any time? Or do they have to be purchased in order?

I don’t get why they don’t add a simple spot ability on Phantom. He’s got nothing as his secondary ability, simply add an ability where when you have the crosshair at the enemy you can mark them so other people on your team can see them and it lasts for 5-10 seconds or something.

I’m referring to the spamtrap, antivirus and Firewall trinkets.

I have no interest in the spamtrap or antivirus trinkets, only want the Firewall.

I hope I can purchase the Firewall without purchasing the others, but the fact that they’re labelled Tier 1-3 worries me. We’ll see.

So how does the event-skin actually look like? If someone has a pic of it please post it, I want to know if its worth it to spend all my credits on case-boosters. Like, if its ugly af I might as well spend those 50k credits on buying a merc instead of transferring them all to cycles just to increase my small small chance of getting a event-case by a tiny tiny bit. I feel like its a waste of credits, cause the amount of credits you need just to get a little bit of cycles is ridicolous. Those trinkets and boosters cost way too much, if you haven’t spent real money on credits-boosters or saved up all your credits for the past 5 months so you have over100k you pretty much have a minimum chance of getting an event-skin, all you get is maybe the cheapest trinket.

Sorry for the rant, but I feel like everyone that doesn’t spend their whole salary on this game is kinda left on the sideline here.

Proxy, Aura, Sparks all have low health and an SMG (technically Sparks has a machine pistol but that’s semantics). Kira, while not equipped with an SMG does carry around various assault rifles. All of these mercs do fine in CQC, even against Fragger (even against Rhino). Also, you can lose 70% of the time against experience players using Proxy with the Hochfir…

@kibloy haha no! pdp does suck when compared to Bolt Actions. You trade headshots with another vasilli who has a bolt action while you’re using a pdp, his hp drops to 20% while your head is on the floor.

Well, not anymore because the SNITCH device’s going to make it viable. The increase in damage will finally make people fear the snipers.
