Remember, as always, unless specifically stated as confirmed, please take everything with a grain of salt.

Update Info:
Merc role-call:

The update will hopefully go live this week (as always, subject to change if any major complications arise).
Ranked play in the next update will have 2x credits (replacing the current 1.5x)
The comic does not end with Max Bashki being shot… There are some more parts to find!

 • Check social media posts (such as twitter images/videos) to find the next part.

Here is a teaser image for the next comic part:

Aimee Information (From role-call):
Aimee will have access to the PDP (her default), FEL-IX and Grandeur.
[] Her secondaries are the DE.50, Selbstadt.40 and the Caulden.
[
] Her melee weapons are the Kukri and Stilnotto Stiletto. (There is likely a third, but it was not visible in the loadout cards in the role-call)
Loadout cards from role-call:

Her SNITCH device is no longer a “third eye cam”. It now ‘spots’ people and applies a bonus bullet damage debuff to players spotted for (on release) 7s
[] Medics can remove the debuff by healing the player affected.
[
] The SNITCH device flies forwards, as opposed to being thrown like the heart-beat sensor.
SNITCH stands for “Scanning Node (and) Invasive Tactical Covert Hypodynamic” Device… They are open to fun community suggestions

“Cycles” & Trinkets Info:
[] “Cycles” are the new currency ONLY for the upcoming event. They can be earned by playing matches (on top of normal credits being earned).
[
] “Cycles” are also mission rewards. They can also be bought for 10,000, 50,000 and 100,000 credits in the store.
The “Skull Splitter” trinket is the 4th trinket in the next update.
Here is an in-game screenshot of the “Skull Splitter” trinket:

The other trinkets available during the event are “Spamtrap”, “AntiVirus” and “Firewall”.
“Skull Splitter” is the only cash-only trinket. However, it has a ‘special effect’, which is that it gives a 10% bonus for cycles earned during matches played in the event. It also highlights your kills with a special icon whilst wearing the trinket.

Event Cases Overview:
Event, Equipment and Elite Cases have 4 different versions. These variants only contain the mercs that are on rotation for that week (in the final week all 4 will come back). This means you have a higher chance to get a card/skin for a merc that you actually want!
100% chance special edition cases will have a chance to drop after matches, like previous events.
There are “drop boosters” available to boost your chance at getting a guaranteed special edition case after a match.
[] If 10 are stacked, you get an equivalent chance to a normal equipment case drop (30%).
[
] The boosters last until an event case drops. At which point they are cleared and you must stack them again.
Culprit Overview:
[] 5 week event - the community decides ‘Who killed Max Bashki’.
[
] Each week there will be a NEW merc rotation. The first 4 are Proxy, Nader, Sawbonez and Arty.
[] If you take any of the 4 mercs on rotation in your SQUAD (doesn’t have to be played), the play time will add up to that merc’s total.
[
] The merc with the most play time at the end of the week becomes the “most wanted”.
[] During week 5 all the “most wanted” from each week will be in the rotation again. The “most wanted” from this final week will be the culprit!
[
] The culprit gets a special edition loadout card from the “Culprit Case”. This will be different from the special edition Suspect Cards which are available throughout the event.
Extra Info:
Sausage Neighbours In Toronto Cook Herbs… Yes.
MANLY CRAGS.
Falcon was debunked. May he rest in peace… I cri evri tiem.

Nope. Still not playing ranked.

The comic does not end with Max Bashki being shot… There are some more parts to find!

Nope. Still don’t care about Aimee.

How about just sell event cases? No? Too fair?

100% chance special edition cases will have a chance to drop after matches, like previous events.

Yeaaahh… time to play hundred and one hours without any drops while people who played few hours get multiple cases.

Until official gets released, you can watch role call that ive recorded from stream

I didnt watch the stream but were the credits-cycles conversion rate not shown? I really hope the conversion is something fair and not too hefty. If the gain of cycles from playing games and the conversion is really bad (like how the trinket event was where you had to play like what? 40 hours or something) then again, i will continue to play as normal and ignore that the event is going on.

(pumpkinmeerkat) #7

Does concussion grenade disable SNITCH device?

(Haki) #8

man, the descriptions of the micro transactions always start out so cool and by the end I wonder whether I’m the only one seeing the issue with it.

@IcySkyz a 100k credit pack offers you 10800 cycles which is enough to buy the three trinket and a culprit case. so the rate s about 10 credit a cycle but the pack gives some as bonus i guess

So once you get a case, even if it’s for a merc you didn’t want, you have to rebuy all the boosters again, to try again?

This event is a fucking credit bleed, holy shit.

Yeah, that was very unexpected. I would prefer higher booster cost or lower chances for a sustained bonus.

(Backuplight) #12

Yeah, I’m totally put off of wasting credits on the stacks now - time for us to pool our community hive mind and work out what the most efficient number of stacks is!

(blisteringOwlNest) #13

How can a not even concept merc be debunked XD

We don’t have any numbers except at 10/10 boosters - 30%. (Well, technically even not that because it is stated as “the same as regular case drops”, but those are around 30%.)

The chance may not increase linearly. Each booster may give a set multiplier. Assuming that without boosters it’s 0,3%, it may go like this:

(FireWorks) #15

Has it been stated if all boosters get consumed or only a single one per case drop? Does the the whole stack get cleared?

(Nail) #16

got a little thrown off by the date

(Jesus) #17

@Fireworks the booster all stays until you get a guaranteed case when you get one they all disappear

(Faraleth) #18

@FireWorks whole stack gets squished :frowning:

(Randomdeath) #19

You sneaky little bastard, Thanks

(FireWorks) #20

Wow thats bad… I mean “way to spend all your cash on”. Pretty unreasonable unless youre super rich and “willing” enough to spend it.
