Update Info:
Merc role-call:
The update will hopefully go live this week (as always, subject to change if any major complications arise).
Ranked play in the next update will have 2x credits (replacing the current 1.5x)
The comic does not end with Max Bashki being shot… There are some more parts to find!
- Check social media posts (such as twitter images/videos) to find the next part.
Here is a teaser image for the next comic part:
Aimee Information (From role-call):
Aimee will have access to the PDP (her default), FEL-IX and Grandeur.
[] Her secondaries are the DE.50, Selbstadt.40 and the Caulden.
[] Her melee weapons are the Kukri and Stilnotto Stiletto. (There is likely a third, but it was not visible in the loadout cards in the role-call)
Loadout cards from role-call:
Her SNITCH device is no longer a “third eye cam”. It now ‘spots’ people and applies a bonus bullet damage debuff to players spotted for (on release) 7s
[] Medics can remove the debuff by healing the player affected.
[] The SNITCH device flies forwards, as opposed to being thrown like the heart-beat sensor.
SNITCH stands for “Scanning Node (and) Invasive Tactical Covert Hypodynamic” Device… They are open to fun community suggestions
“Cycles” & Trinkets Info:
[] “Cycles” are the new currency ONLY for the upcoming event. They can be earned by playing matches (on top of normal credits being earned).
[] “Cycles” are also mission rewards. They can also be bought for 10,000, 50,000 and 100,000 credits in the store.
The “Skull Splitter” trinket is the 4th trinket in the next update.
Here is an in-game screenshot of the “Skull Splitter” trinket:
The other trinkets available during the event are “Spamtrap”, “AntiVirus” and “Firewall”.
“Skull Splitter” is the only cash-only trinket. However, it has a ‘special effect’, which is that it gives a 10% bonus for cycles earned during matches played in the event. It also highlights your kills with a special icon whilst wearing the trinket.
Event Cases Overview:
Event, Equipment and Elite Cases have 4 different versions. These variants only contain the mercs that are on rotation for that week (in the final week all 4 will come back). This means you have a higher chance to get a card/skin for a merc that you actually want!
100% chance special edition cases will have a chance to drop after matches, like previous events.
There are “drop boosters” available to boost your chance at getting a guaranteed special edition case after a match.
[] If 10 are stacked, you get an equivalent chance to a normal equipment case drop (30%).
[] The boosters last until an event case drops. At which point they are cleared and you must stack them again.
Culprit Overview:
[] 5 week event - the community decides ‘Who killed Max Bashki’.
[] Each week there will be a NEW merc rotation. The first 4 are Proxy, Nader, Sawbonez and Arty.
[] If you take any of the 4 mercs on rotation in your SQUAD (doesn’t have to be played), the play time will add up to that merc’s total.
[] The merc with the most play time at the end of the week becomes the “most wanted”.
[] During week 5 all the “most wanted” from each week will be in the rotation again. The “most wanted” from this final week will be the culprit!
[] The culprit gets a special edition loadout card from the “Culprit Case”. This will be different from the special edition Suspect Cards which are available throughout the event.
