thx for the notes Fara…but the boosters thing…that’s pure scam. I’m sorry man. If they really work as intended I will never ever jump on such a thing in the future…ever again. 90k of gold RIP.
Not to mention the damage to the community. Despair everywhere instead of enjoyable event rewarding loyal grinders. WtD and CW events were pure grind and pain but nothing like this one.
So how do boosters work then if it was advertised wrongly, and how is the end drop rate with 10 boosters? (since it’s obviously not THE SAME as of normale equipment cases)
Cant complain about a single thing there , not even the fletcher nerf despite I main him as specialist. Reducing the aoe of stickies is a great solution to punish spamming
But I stacked 10 boosters and after the next game I immediately got a case drop it wasn’t nader but it was a proxy Which is still a merc I usually have in rotation. And I think buying the trinket gave me a case drop too as I got one after the first match after purchasing it. So I ended up with 2 event cards first day.
I bought the skull trinket and did not get an event case drop…you just got lucky.
Exactly the same as me. I bought the trinket, got a case first game, got another case about 10 games later on the same day.
Since then I have played more than 80 games with 4 boosters and not a single case.
I bought the $6.59 trinket and the $19.77 Aimee + Obsidian deal, no case for me.
Probably because I activated boosters before playing.
Has ANYBODY got an event case with 1-9 boosters active? It seems that only people with 0 or 10 get an event case.

Must be lucky, i wont buy the boosters as they are to expensive for me, but i had the Fire Wall trinket for about 30+ games (be it objective, Stop watch and execution) and i haven’t had one case drop for me.

Same. That’s what I was meaning. First game after equipping skull trinket, I got a case.
Edit: Almost everyone I know who bought the skull trinket got a case first pop. Coincidence? Starting to wonder…
Not dropping the 1st gen cards is kind of stupid imo. Just make it so instead of 9 cards now, there are a few more and don’t remove any from trade ups or cases.
Spending 5 minutes in MM queues for casual play is going to be so much fun!

I’m done. If SD thinks we’re idiots and misunderstood what they wrote, but then don’t have the courage to explain to us what we misunderstood, I have no interest in playing the event, sorry.
Really now, removing traditional server browsing which was the one saving grace for me in this game? It’s a phenomonal game for drop-in-drop-out gameplay with everything around it like the match durations and quick-join easily replacing players who leave. Why would you ever release a new set of cards when the old set isn’t even balanced well at all when you could change those around first? This right here is a prime example of powercreep in the game, and makes me regret ever spending on cases and the like because those loadouts will be obsolete now. It would be wonderful if you got rid of the loadout card system and allowed older skins to still be usable on new wave loadouts and potentially weapons. Alongside all of these issues the game is still optimized like absolute garbage, with each update only making it worse.
