Uhm, you need the game to watch a demo for it.

spam elsewhere please.

He wasn’t spamming, foo’–he spoke the truth. You have to have the game in which a demo was recorded in order to view said demo.

no maybe i didnt explain rite soz, i made the demos (q3 & et) i want to know if theres a progy that allows me to edit & generaly muck around with them

AFAIK you can’t edit demos, which is the main reason I never bother to make any kind of movie… only being able to fastforward (timescale) makes it a pain in the ass.

I don’t think this really helps… but bleh, for completeness.

:bump: …burn.

You use the game to replay the demo and make a bunch of TGA screenshots with the cl_avi command (900 kB each at 640*480, ~1.3GB/minute at 24 FPS  ). Then you can use almost any movie editing program, like Adobe Premiere, Vegas Video, or (for the poor) the free Quake Video Maker to edit/create the AVI.

eh

some nice tool imo is bzz demo viewer
http://boozze.brock.be/modules.php?name=Downloads&d_op=getit&lid=14 (rtcw/et)

it’s just a batch file of 2 Kb but does everything what seismo does

You need to configure & rtfm somethings first, which takes 1 minute

seismovision can fuck up your config sometimes
