demos???

hi ppl

I wonder if anyone can help me out?I recently been making some demos of myself and am trying 2 make them in2 avi.so i can play them though windows media player.I have seen my demos though et and done the avi thing though et and it gives ya loads of files in the screen shot folder.I think some how i need 2 join them.anyone know how? :???:

There are programs that convert a bunch of screenshots into an avi. (so you gotta put in a command for it to take screenshots every 1/30 of a second or something like that =)

Another solution might be to use FRAPS (a program that calculates your FPS) which has a feature that records the game (without sound).
The only thing is, you neat a beast of a machine to run the game well to play it and record the game at the same time. A way to do it is on LAN, you get a dedicated machine to watch one person play and record, while you play flawlessly on another. =P

check the links in this page: guides are based on rtcw, but ET is exactly the same as rtcw+osp as far as making avi’s is concerned.

taking demo’s takes up hardly any extra resources, take the avifps from the demo.

One very easy tool to join alot of image-files together is the (free) VMach.
It’s very easy to use, and needs no 3-hour-get-into-period, like Premiere does, but instead has a very short tutorial, which will get your jpg’s conjoined within no-time.

i have sort of made a vid.but cant get any audio though???

u know when u start a demo in2 avi though et.it takes it in2 screen shots does it put audio in there as well??? :???:
