Silly question;
Is it possible to run demo version of the game with custom maps; if so, is that legal? When I try to launch Brinstar map via objective game type on ETQW demo version, I get

ERROR: User Map Start Denied 'Unknown map 'maps/brinstar''

error. It looks like only Valley is allowed.
Are you able to select a mod in first case? Have you installed Promod or QWTA?
I am not so sure. Windows version of demo server lets you to pick a “game type” but that’s about it. I found that in the server console;
Running in restricted mode.
It looks like the developer hard-coded the demo to prevent usage of additional content which is understandable.
