Demo of enemy ball marker/highlight hack

I have just recorded a demo of me on rader using the enemy
highlighting hack. it’s on a PB server running the rader map.

Now you tell me how on earth i can tell where people are on this
map, in the grass etc, if I didn’t use some kind of hack???.

Told you PB is not much good…

Now how do I put this demo up ( I’m new to this forum,
not sure how to post ).

Advice please.

Oh, and you can see i not that great, but usually i don’t get to kill 5
to 6 in a row, even as medic!. What could an already skilled player
do with this i ask you?. Anyone who says this is not an advantage
is a bit of a dumbass really, i had a good shot or two head start
on most players

And thanks to those who shouted evenbalance etc with info, and
an apology to those who i was playing. i don’t cheat normally,
just trying to prove once and for all that this is possible on ET
servers running PB or not.

You don’t “test” a hack online unless everyone on the server and the server admin is aware of it.

Do I care what your motive is? No.
Would I ban you if I found out you cheated (by looking at PB screenshots)? Yes.

I don’t know why you care so much about the people who refuse to believe. At least they’re not the ones cheating.

Everybody knows there are cheats available, and some people use them, what you do is showing them off so people will get interested in them and see what is possible and they’ll want to try download them themselves because they think everybody is using them, especially when you tell everytime how easy it is to download them.
You’re not helping anyone here, in fact, probably the number of cheaters has raised because of stupid actions like yours (the link thing, now this demo).

If you find a cheat all you have to do is report it to evenbalance. And certainly do not test them on public servers. If you want to test them for some reason (and this better be a better reason then showing off), do it on a local server or your clanserver.

Well if every one already knows, then I haven’t exactly done anything
wrong by telling everyone all over again, have I?. :???:

why test on a local server?, i was only seeing if PB is any good, not if
cheats exist and what you can do with them. I wanted to see if i could dupe people into NOT KNOWING I was cheating, to see if it could be done. It had to be done on public servers I’m afraid, to see if they were cheatproof enough. THEY AREN’T.

I succeeded, and yes it DID improve my game, as it would for anyone.

In fact, rather a lot…

I’m usually a mid table, objective minded player
not some rambo who thinks they are good solely because of XP or
frags etc. To me a good player is one who is keeping his mind on
the job, not some one playing DM on his own as Rambo medic
or airspam Fieldops. I played as Rambo med, and quite easily
found myself in the top 3 on most servers, with a good k/D ratio
and high XP

And no one cried cheater on me…

I’m not a clan member in ET, i don’t consider myself good enough, so
no clan server access. Would be nice though, to play some fair games.

Right end of my test. Hopefully I’ve done something to prove PB
isn’t as good as it should be, and that those hacks are being dissected
right now. I Knew I’d get stick for trying this all out, but at least I had
balls to do it with my online name.

we all know that pb doesnt detect like 100’d of cheats but the only way you cna help if by searching for all eT cheats and sending them to evenbalance or do what i did and sent them a link to a forum where they send out new cheats every week or so

couldn’t prove was cheating???..

because no one said anything against me, and I was CHEATING.
What if I was that person, who was owning you?. ( not saying I could! )
You would think it fair, and it wasn’t.

To summarise: There are and always will be cheats, Instead of “testing” them yourself on public servers, then slagging off PB for not detecting
them, send them to the PB makers (Evenbalance) so they can counter them.
Some people don’t understand PB updates itself while u play every so often, and the main reason for that is the discovery of NEW cheats/hacks etc.
Now STFU!!!

I’ve probably been owned by cheaters on some occasion, although I trust the people who usually owns me (like the SD server regulars). If I suspected someone I would try to prove that he cheated, and then (if it was obvious to me) I might get upset.

Doesn’t take an aimot to be called a cheater. :suspicious:
I know that cheats give the player an unfair advantage that is hard to detect/prove, but you trying it on a public server didn’t exactly improve the situation.

Please read what i said. I DIDN’T say that people said there were
no cheats as such. Just that they can go undetected by PB or players.

jeez some of you can’t understand a persons point, go back to school
and learn something

I know it was rather bad to do this, but it was only for one spare day,
to see if it could be done, and it was the only was to see if the
gaming public playing ET could cheat without others knowing.
