None, nowadays.
–I remember when the term DLC didn’t exist for FPS games. Instead, terms like “map pack”, “bonus pack” and “patch X.XX” where used to identify what is currently being called DLC nowadays, except all this stuff was free back then (if you don’t count it being released into Gold/Editor’s Choice Editions of the game in retail stores).
–Further, still, I can even remember when the only fee you’d be charged for DLC was a fee for gaining EARLY access to the content, usually like 1 or 2 months. I really wish that all of today’s multiplayer shooter DLC was like this, as it would help to combat the playerbase fracturing that usually occurs with many of these FPS games of late.
I really do commend Splash Damage for releasing this first DLC for free.
