depends on how good of a server you wanna get, i think there are decent ones for in the 250 range, or at least i think. ive only thought about renting a server like once way back when for ut/uto3. but i think the good ones are up in the 300’s, i dunno for how long the rent is though?

A 16 player server for ET shouldn’t cost more than 80 bucks a month. It gets more expensive the more players you want to host. The best way to judge how good a company is for hosting is to play on some of the other servers they provide. Talk to the peeps who run them and see what they think of the company.

Before you invest in one, though, take a look at how many empty servers there are out there. Unless you have a clan or a regular group of people who are going to play on your server its probably not worth it. Paying rent on a server that’s empty all day is pretty pointless.

Yup unless you have a group of people to start the server off it would be pointless. we get our servers from www.preygrounds.com 32 player server for 100 bucks. thats the best deal i found yet, the servers are full every night and lag free.(most of the time anyway)
