Deciding on if I should play?
Mainstream gamer? Can you use your psychic powers and tell everyone what games i’ve played this week?

No. The problems have not been fixed. Still unable to play with friends due to lag. Yet, put Halo in 2 mins later and no lags, no problems because that game was designed and tested properly.

I call it junk because it is junk. 8 unbalanced, broken maps for a full price game is not only junk, its a rip off. If its the best game you’ve ever played then you have my condolences.
Really!? It’s junk? I guess it is if you say so.

Wow… I didn’t played it for a while now. Just started it now. Servers are so empty =( That makes me sad :frowning:
I hope the new DLC changes that. Then I’ll also be playing again. Btw, what if SD would also make it F2P?

Just played my first matches online. Was only with a few humans, rest were bots, but people could not have been friendlier, truly and sincerely. I was definitely a tad lost at first, but then I pretty much settled in. Played a good 4 rounds or so and got to Level 3 I think it was. I played Medic as that is the role I am most comfortable with other games, I would say my biggest learning hurdle is just going to be knowing what classes to choose when, but that will come with time and learning the maps. Backed out to post on here and grab some water. So I am definitely enjoying it, going to see what I can unlock, and will probably hop on for a few more rounds before I have to call it a night.

I honestly see no reason whatsoever why people are not playing the game. Really am hoping the DLC invigorates the community again, as I personally can definitely see myself getting into this game.

Then you should be assuming that you’re missing something, because roughly 3% of the PC player base are still playing regularly  It’s far from a bad game for sure, but it certainly has it’s problems. Once SD have released the DLC I’ll be waiting for certain decisions and issues to be addressed - if nothing changes with auto-highlighting and the “one button does everything” situation, I won’t be starting Brink up again personally. The DLC, while featuring two very gorgeous looking maps (for which SD should be commended), isn’t really of interest to me either. I’m happy to wait and see what happens post-DLC - but there are far better propositions waiting right around the corner, to be honest.

Anyone know what time the DLC will go live tomorrow + will it just be an auto-update via Steam?

Cheers.
