I don’t see why you guys give this dude props. He is clearly playing on easy or the ai is pathetically bad. It’s easy to “look” good when you can kill 3 enemies all in the open with you because they don’t shoot back.

It is not so much about enemies he`s playing against but the overall feel. The movement, the speed, the shooting part, it feels like an SD game should and makes that preorder justified in full. The guy just gets to bask in the glow.

Interesting factoid. I have the strategy guide and I added up the xp needed to reach level 20. It is in fact 300k. This dude got 1973xp. At that rate, you are talking 152 matches to reach level 20.

Now there are a lot of factors to this. Such as maybe this is a fast map, he was defending, it didn’t get to the second objective. All kinds of things.

I’m gonna examine some other of the complete level play-throughs and see if i can come up with an average xp per level.

On a second thought, I have seen players (newbs) stacking up 20k XP+ per match, so I am still in time for my weekend run to level 20 :>

No, you haven’t. You’ve seen your share of people playing FPS’s and you assume it’s the same thing.

I don’t know what it is, but I actually saw AskACapper, who’s quadriplegic, aim better than 90% of the clowns putting out videos of Brink. Think about that. I’ve seen a guy who cannot use his hands aim better than most of the players streaming Brink.

The fact that this guy could hit the bots AT ALL just goes to show you that he’s not doing bad by comparison.

Loved the movement and shooting. This video makes me believe that the light class will be very effective, especially if they hang out with a medic who can extend their health or engineer who can buff their armor. Those smg’s spray like the Thompson/MP40 from the RCTW ET days…We are gonna run those COD heads off of this in the 1st month!!! Look forward to playing this on the 360!

Quite the idiot you’d have to be to proclaim what vids I have or havnt watched. At 2:50 the guy is running out in the open with enemies all around. If the ai was better or if he wasn’t playing on easy he would be dead. That is smart playing? Give me a break.

Granted maybe he’s just f’in around or maybe that’s all he has. Point is its nothing special. You guys are so excited for new vids you can’t see it I guess.

Well the only thing I say about my numbers is really 152 isn’t bad. If you figure that match took 10 mins.

So lets say out of an hour you get 5 games in because of cut scenes and what not. Thats 30.4 hours. If you can average 2 hours a day playing. Your talking 15 days roughly to hit 20. Thats two weeks.

The other option is that I’m reading this wrong and you actually need 1,945,000 xp to hit level 20.

You can’t objectively compare a random players uploaded video to a developers video where he is trying to showcase game mechanics and objectives. For instance in the vids where they showcase abilities it would be awfully hard to show how the revive perk works if the person that shot him finished him off. You got two different motives for videos.
