Decent Gameplay vid

(Rickyricc) #1

Here’s some good gameplay of brink… Unlike most videos so far where most players arent to good, this guy actually shows what the game is all about… Jumping around, shooting, sliding, looks pretty fast paced as well which is a plus…

(SublimeShotz) #2

wasnt bad but he has no concept of hight kinda made me giggle at start when he couldnt get up lol

(Diablo85) #3

It’s so far the only movie I’ve seen that I actually liked. The guy playing knows what he’s doing and the light body type makes the game look quite fast paced.

(Rickyricc) #4

lol yeh, I think he thought be could just jump over anything… Not sure what build he was, prob medium but with light I’m sure he could of…

(Diablo85) #5

He’s a light body type. His main is a SMG and his secondary a pistol.

This game is pure gold, can’t see a single thing i don’t like except the bots, but i won’t be playing this offline anyway.

(tokamak) #7

Wow, finally someone who knows what he’s doing. Amazing sounds as well.

I wonder if the distance increases further, the orange goo eventually blind the player in brightness.

(Rickyricc) #8

Ah ok gotcha

(trigg3r) #9

finally some guy that knows how to play a FPS and doesnt just stand still trying to aim. I mean he actually change to his secondary weapon to finish some enemies instead of waiting for the reload.

and yeah, he seemed to be pretty fast as a light body type

(Weyoun) #10

Really good vid this time. This guy can actually shoot and move around. Watching this video makes it even harder to wait for the release

(tokamak) #11

Bethesda would be wise to feature this video and parade it around rather than DMCA it.

(SIR WOLFIE 87) #12

Well, not entirely true. People getting this for offline only will be quite put off by the AI of the bots.

(Ragoo) #13

I still don’t understand why it has to be all black and white and deafness effect when you are low on health. One could argue this is good for immersion but I say it’s ****ing annoying and doesn’t add anything.

Never ever did I play ET:QW, Quake or whatever and thought to myself “if only everything would be black and white and my sound turned down when I get hit” -_-

(ClickClickBOOM) #14

/fixed
yw

also: he is playing light isnt he? doing wallhops all the time which is cool

(trigg3r) #15

also, i just noticed we finally saw some effective hip firing . He barely used iron sight, only when he was far away.

Like I said, Bethesda.

ETQW didn’t have any real night-maps. I do love the dynamic sound, it really sucks you into the game.

(kilL_888) #17

yammi. very good. found 2 videos today on the youtubes but the guys playing really seem to never played a fps before.

this guy here knows what hes doing obviously.

but, either the bots were super easy or the ai is just bad. not important for me though. i will play only online.

(SIR WOLFIE 87) #18

Some kind of visualization when you’re low on health is only good, or you’d have to look at your healthbar to find out.

(Ragoo) #19

Oh no, looking at your health bar is so hard lol

Some kind of visualization doesn’t necessarily need to be everything going black and white and sound turned down. :frowning:

Don’t get me wrong, I don’t mind if something like this is in Single Player for immersion but I don’t want to deal with this annoying crap in multiplayer. I usually don’t care if I feel like I’m really there defending/fleeing the Ark if I’m playing against other people :stuck_out_tongue:

Actually you’ll be amazed at how difficult it is. Many folks are focused on the fight itself and the healthbar is usually not within their sight. You can die pretty quickly without the warning, since that split second that it takes for you to look at your health, can decide life or death.
