There’s a guy with about an hour of 720p gameplay on justin.tv. At about 47 minutes in he starts improving, and it sounds like he’s having an absolute blast.
The quality of the video is great and the game’s audio is AMAZING.

gameplay wise brink looks exactly the same as quakewars, but its splashes first original IP, brink 2 will probaly be started on in a few months, with 100% of the profit going to splash, making brink 2 even better and unique
Well, this vid proves one thing in particular: Guns are not underpowered. Takes just the right amount of ammo to take an enemy down. No one-hit-kills, no bullet-sponges.
Great vid, really selling it to my mates now. Don’t take it down SD, this is free advertising at its best. In fact, maybe this is a SD vid lol.
Even though he was playing against Normal bots there were still some parts where it looked like he was way too effective. He was basically a one man army. Maybe I missed the bots on his team doing stuff, or lots of medics on the other team, but he was really chewing through them with ease.
Slow and tactical don’t really fit in a game where you can parkour across the map.
That movement speed should have been for the medium type.

Yeah I think Movement Speed overall needs a little increase, feels kinda slow…
Pretty damn good vid, lol watching him franticly jump at high walls was pretty hillarious though
I didn’t see any spawn camping…
the attackers were just not good enough.
Perhaps the enemy AI isnt very good or he was playing on a lower difficulty. But they were pretty plainly mowing the entire team down before they could get out of the spawn at one point. One other concern would be the fact that strangely it looked as though, even as a light, you cannot SMART over rails that are inclined from the side. Aside from that, this video showcased the game the best of what I’ve seen so far. I cannot wait to get my hands on it tuesday. Time is passing quite slowly now.
If a 360 player can pull of some good moves like dat, PC version will surely be pure gold if you properly use SMART.
It is console footage though so FOV 75. Playing with FOV 110 will at least feel faster.
And how fast it feels is as far as you can get watching some footage without knowing map sizes and distances between spawn and objectives and so on. If the body types are fast enough for the map and objective design is an entirely different story. We have simply no way of knowing that yet.
There was a stream yesterday on Justin.tv that had heavy gameplay
That’s a positive my brothar!
