Was it shipped? I would like to have a constant reminder within arms reach to never invest in your company again.
DB Swag
inb4 unexpected technical error set everything to womens small. Probably a more effective reminder tho
Thankfully there hasn’t been any technical error. We’re still on track with the plan that we mentioned when making our most recent thread about getting the gear to you guys.
It has taken quite a while to get this sorted, and for those of you who are upset by that, we apologise. Please know that we’re working to get everything to you as soon as we can.
The contrainer city sweatshop children are working at full throttle to hand-craft each and every piece of swag.

Thanks for the link I can’t stomach scouring these forums for very long because every post is the same and has been for 2 years.
Did SD put our game names on the back?
That would be epic!
I want to go to the next PAX or LAN event that SD will be at!
A BRINK reference! Quite rare these days. Man, how I loved that game; would’ve been a perfect F2P title I suppose. I’m still curious as to how the rest of the Ark would’ve looked like… guess I’ll never find out now. I really hope though, that Bethesda will do something with the IP in the foreseeable future. And if so, I also hope that they keep the artstyle and don’t make it an entire new game with just the same name, plus “2”.
PS: Sorry for going way off topic, I was just dreaming
Brink showed many things.
Most importantly: listen to what fans and passionate gamers say during developement. otherwise it will fail.

Problems start when passionate gamers during development say contradictory things.
you gotta know your gamer.
but i realy doubt, that we will find anyone who is happy with current state of DB
i mean not much of a contradictory here =)
Exactly. And they will say contradictory things all the time. I don’t think that BRINK has failed, because it wasn’t catering enough too passionate gamers, I just think it was too unique for a wide audience and casual gamers at that time. Nowadays everybody is SMARTing around in his favorite FPS game, but back then this was more a niche thing and not really established in the MP-FPS genre. The other problem was the lack of focus on a specific platform, or rather said, BRINK wasn’t very well “back-ported” to the PC(SMART-key same as sprint-key, low res textures, etc). Aside from that BRINK had quite a unique artstyle and universe, which was prolly not everybody’s cup of tea. However, as everybody knows, I loved the crap out of that game and to this day I consider it the MP-FPS with the most personality.
With that being said; I hope DB gets at least a couple cutscenes. Maybe even a small “tutorial camapaign”(just the MP-maps with intros and outros). FPS purists will roll their eyes now, but I definitely need little touches like that in order to get myself more invested in a game.
It was a decent console shooter. I liked it way better on the 360 than on the PC. It just failed to build the clout needed for a sustainable playerbase.
That bug at the start of the consoles really messed up everything. My housemate bought the game, really eager to play, but he has no patience whatsoever so after a few hours of frustration he just left the game for what it was and turned back to WoW again. Which gave me ample time to play it on the console

I have my PS3 for over one year now, but I still can’t imagine to play a MP-FPS game with a controller(I usually play fighting games with an arcade stick), I mean I’m quite struggeling to do so in SP-FPS games; but just out of curiosity I lately thought a couple times about buying Brink for the PS3, when I saw it lying in a bargain bin, for 5,-€, or 10,-€. I would just play the campaign though
