So we all love this game right? If not then why are you here but anyway we probably all have stories to share from this game and I want to hear your stories. It can range from a stupid “I like Turtle” to “A skyhammer gave me ammo. IN A PUB” (historical moments).
I’ll start

  1. It was a long day. I just joined a server to play for fun after a mission grind. I spawned and. WHAT. AMMO. YEEEEEEEES. Oh no wait the Skyhammer forgot his ammo and he took it -_-.
  2. I was playing competitive as Sawbonez. I had a Rhino on my team who was low on health. So I threw all my medpacks in an attempt to heal the bastard. He dodged all of them and pushed with 50HP. Then he says in chat “Sawbonez heal me”.

Oh let me start with stupid one: “I like Turtle”

Turtle is a great objective specialist and everything, but he has one powerful abillity (and I am not talking about his shield)…
It will help almost every Dirty Bomb player even though they maybe don’t own him.
That abillity is reducing Mine, Sticky and Turret spam in rotations… Well that’s it.

Also: My luck today

I haven’t got any execution mission today…

Question is if you hit the enemy… You can shoot bullets at enemy all day, and if you miss every single one of them, he most likely won’t die.

Also, enemy can shoot bullets at you all day long, and if he misses every single one of them, you most likely won’t die.

Now that’s also a vicious cycle :wink:

It was on the last stage of terminal, and I had just started to use bushwacker. We had planted, so i placed a turret behind a block aiming at the c4.
Being bad at this game, I lost on a gun fight and died, but my turret got 5 kills whilst I was still waiting for the respawn timer.
Who needs skill when 5 enemy members rush to the c4 at once, huh?

1.I play Sawbonez, I revive people, keep my teammates up and running, plant a bomb, push, sneak behind to get enemy team’s attention, repair secondary(ies) and bust Aura’s health station so my team would push…EVERY GOD DAMN GAME.

  1. I was asking a Skyhammer for ammo using radio command but he didn’t knew what it is or noticed it so I started knifing him and he knifes me back so yup, I didn’t get the ammo and ended up getting shot down along side him, safe to say that I gave up on him too late.

I started “tough love” training for all Skyhammers that kept not giving ammo after I had spammed v22 in chat, used VOIP and knived them multitude of minutes.

I pick Medic unless I am already, follow them around, wait till they’re downed and tea-bag the barely-living agonized crap outta their rolling bodies while charging up defibs on top of them only to leave without revive towards spawn to meet and follow, rince and repeat same procedure.

Needless to say they either a) drop you ammo after couple of repeats b) start spouting nonsense in chat, which is when you can easily drop effective “Annoying when support doesn’t do their thing right?” one-liner that does often work or c) they’re beyond saving and you should save your bloodpressure for more arousing activities, no need to fret over living bots.

I asked a pub player to follow me to flank and push the EV a few more feet to get the objective, and they actually did. They were level 4. I have never been more proud when all the others were too scared to even walk across the street.

those moments when you’re the only medic keeping everyone alive WHILE getting multiple frags. And then you stand there and repair this god damned EV next to the two engineers you just revived.
The last time this happened to me was… every day since I started playing Dirty Bomb :smiley:

I was once revived by an Aura player on accident when they were trying to kill somebody with their paddles.

I was once playing sawbonez and i threw my last med-pack in the direction of a bushwhacker and then an enemy Molotov was thrown on top of it. so instead of waiting for the fire to go away the bushwhacker leaps into the air towards it and burns to death.

One time I team wiped with skyhammer on chapel on the last obj, letting us deliver it the first time. The I did it AGAIN making us win. The other team weren’t happy.

I went on a godlike killing spree as Arty and right as we were going to win, I got kicked for “hacking”. gg
