I’ve spent some time tweeking our server’s pak file, so far the only problem that i’ve encoutered is that if i modified the pak file after a user has downloaded a previous version, a second pak is downloaded with the same name and some numbers after it. no big deal, but i don’t wanna be responsible for loading up someones HD 
any ways after reading these forums for a while i know you guys might actually notice the mods so far i havent really had any comments. Also let me be the first to mention this even though it pretty much goes against all that i stand for. BUT it would be really easy to insert ads into the standard pak files so that they would show up in the official maps…i personally belive that ads,spam is the root of all evil. so i havent gone all out with it (yet).
