How can I customize what happens when sombody votes or refs the competition or public settings?
I want to turn off the complaints in public.
And In competition its auto locking the teams.
We really like leaving it in competition settings but the fact that it auto locks the teams is getting me aggrivated. Lil help?
Set g_complaintlimit to 0 to turn off complaints.
You shouldn’t need competition settings unless you’re running a clan match on your server. The F3 to ready up, timeouts, locked teams, and disallowing late joins are all tailored towards a competition environment. If you’re running a public server (anyone can connect and play), stick with the public settings.

In standard ET you can’t change pub/comp settings, it will always use OSP’s defaults for pub/comp if they’re voted on or forced by a ref. (This, BTW, is indeed lame.)
I know bani’s ETPro lets you customize this (it executes a particular cfg for pub/comp settings instead). I don’t know if shrub offers something similar (but he should).
thanks! I think ill just have to keep turning the complaints off and tell the refs i have to knock off the changing it. I wish i had a clue on how to set up the shrubbot.
im hosting it… it takes like .05 sec to dl. Unlessan admin has aproblem with it… id rather not get rid of it.

Shrub does in fact have a tourney mod. ET_TourneyMod was developed by Shrub for TWL for their ET leauges and ladders.

It’s got a client-side download, nice revamp of the HUD… It’s a shame I’ve only seen it on ONE server in ASE.
