Custom ANIMCHANNEL

Is it possible to create your own custom animchannel, instead of having to use ANIMCHANNEL_ALL, ANIMCHANNEL_LEGS, ANIMCHANNEL_HEAD, or ANIMCHANNEL_TORSO?

Just as important: Is it possible to use animchannels for weapons?

You should, I guess, like (say) mounted MGs in vehicles. They are nos the main turret (head?)

That’s all direct joint and IK stuff.

Animchannels are the way the character’s torso rotates independently from the legs based on whatever proportional values the scripts look for.

I’m wondering if there’s a way to use that or something similar for weapons.
