Summer and the associated drought of games are still in full swing (as if you couldn’t tell by the gap between this installment and the last one), but we’re now back in action! We’ve had a few games come out in recent weeks, with Xbox Live Arcade serving up the excellent Braid alongside Geometry Wars Evolved2. Soul Calibur 4 appears to be the only notable retail release to hit lately, but September (and with it a fresh crop of games) is drawing ever closer.
In any case, let’s see what we’re playing, shall we? We’ve actually got several new faces in this installment, with recently crowned Audio Director Chris ‘peaceful warrior’ Sweetman and freshly spawned Lead Programmer Dean ‘Deano’ Calver hurling peripherals for the first time.

Finished off Braid this evening, working through Bionic Commando: Rearmed while on a break from Ninja Gaiden 2 - waiting patiently for Clear Skies so I can get back to my PC really.

still grinding at Progress Quest, but a little W:ET lan on weekends, and Settlers 3 + 4

Still playing ETQW. Only problem is I keep getting pwned while admiring the megatextures :o

I’m really looking forward to Far Cry 2 and of course Rage.

MoP, it’s great to hear that you still play ETQW. I’ve often seen you online. Slap you colleagues around a bit will you - make them follow your example!

I have been playing just 3 things:

  • ETQW
  • CnC3 (Tuesday night LAN!) - soon to be replaced by RA3
  • My new guitar

I’m sure I’d also be playing Quake Live at lunch time, had I found a way onto the beta :frowning:
